That's what my ultimate has on it.
Looking for finished bodies either new take offs or VG condition pieces.
Have some Slash stuff-electronics for possible trade.
 ... my wife is gonna kill me, I can hear it now ..... where are you going with my phone?
Then I say: Um ..... for a spin. :)
Or I just swipe the boys I-touch, install the app and...
I'm looking for a couple Slash 4x4 bodies. I've beat the crap outta the two I have and see them on eBay but wonder if anyone here might have a couple to sell or maybe swap for a motor I have and no...
I have one less than a month old.
PM me a shipped offer.... I'm in IL so please consider that.
Bald? That's not bald.
That's bald.
The faster I go the more plastic gets sold.
I need to get a...
Any chance you have heavy drag on any part of the drive line causing the over load circuit to cut in?
I had a total shut down on my VXL esc recently which I though was fried but it ended up being...
I'm not planning on running 6s. I'm skeered to run 4s on my 2400 and 2-3s work awesome on my 3800 but the Traxxas ESC doesn't seem reliable to me.
Huh huh ... what do ya'll say?
A nice list with the various controllers, features, specs, max battery recommendations and experiances.
I have a CCMMP but want to try something else in my...
Or vise versa if I do?
I'd like to have less pull in the frt quite honstley.
With my 3800kv Castle on 2s with 13/54 gearing and my RPM wheelie bar setup I can hold a wheelie as long as the wheels hold traction. I was doing them so long this morning I was giggling like a...
I can't do standing back flips BUT I have had it do a roof slide for 30-40 feet on more than one occasion.
My tars are pretty worn down though, maybe I should consider some road rubber. ;)
Either one of those are killer in the Slash 4x4. 3s is nasty and 4s is crazy. IF you are going for balls out speed they are the cats butt because they run cool with speed gearing as long as you don't...
I'm actually getting better at holding them, wheelie bars help but you still need to find the sweet spot.
I can control them better with the 3800 than I can with the 2400.
Once you get past the initial "hit" wheelies are easy to control. The taller the gearing the longer it will want to wheelie. IF you ease through the throttle travel you won't really wheelie much. Use...
I did my Spektrum S6090 servo like that and was thinking of doing the RX on my Ofna since it's exposed but never thought of the esc although I would seal the case instead of the board so it could...
Unless it absolutely, positively must never come loose again use blue.... red is a PITA to break loose and you'll likely round the allen head if you use it.
Yeap, check the wheel hexes ..... I stripped one and was like ... WTH? Then I found it spun freely. I fixed it with JB weld. I used a old hex cap to mold the weld to the stripped wheel area and...
That turned out slicker than snail snot!
I should send you my body to do in Kimber livery.
Or you could get a Robinson racing slipper which is MUCH more stout.
The 2400 stresses things and the motor mount is next on my list even though mine has yet to fail and I've literally beat the...
Thanks guys .... since I snapped my lower arm on the Hyper this morning (darn 2400 doh) I'll be leaving it 4wd for the time being.
I can run 16/50 or 19/50 so gearing isn't a issue and I'm thinking heat won't be either.
I'm thinking it may actually be a pretty good handler with the motor mid mounted like it is.
Drill 2 small holes in the pan fore and aft of yer mounting point and use a zip tie. ;)
Anyone done this?
I know, I know why would I want to?
Wellllllll ...... I have a Ofna Hyper 10SC and thought it might be cool to try the Slash in 2wd to see how it might work and use it for...
I can say this after my lunch time run with my lastest toy ........ IF these chassis' handle nearly as well as the car I just put together last night well .... I'll be getting one soon ..... I got...
