I have no experience with these personally but supposedly they have terrible traction on asphalt.
I'm a bit rusty on t-maxx terminology. What is this?
The EZstart. Truck was running extremely rich when I got it. There was literally a cloud of smoke. These were test runs to see if the truck worked.
Well the guy apparently didn't sell it. He emailed me the other day and wants to return because it stopped running...
Blasted thing won't start. Drove it in my backyard and it progressively slowed down until it finally cut out. Replaced glow plug and ran it some more. Same thing occurred and my ez-start module said...
Buy a large plastic drawer set used to store toys etc. (with at least two drawers) Buy some smaller drawers in one of those office sets and remove three of them to use as trays. Use one for hardware...
Just a get a quality sidewinder system on ebay for $30 more. This thing is not worth your money.
I pity you. The fan will break off and does very little to reduce temperatures.
You would use the aluminum if you were paranoid about rotating mass. That is it. And don't trust your hobby shop guy.
Yah I had the same issues on my rear carrier hole being too small. I just asked my dad if you could screw them in and he did. Strength prevails.
If you are looking for custom fabrication I'd suggest you contact Harry697 or Smeyers2.
Delrin is mostly introduced to reduce rotating mass and "chatter" resulting from metal to metal contact which interferes with your radio.
Yes but you can remove the casing.
No offense but:
Delete post please.
Comparatively short life against the SV2 orions for obvious reasons.
Don't knock the power of the... dynamite! With external thermal peak cut off monitoring. I use it for charger EZ-Start packs.
I ran a search "venom caught fire" and came up with 7 results. And that was one search term. Many are titled "don't buy venom" etc. Here is the first result....
It is a brand of CVD. (constant velocity drive)
Sorry man. Run a search and you'll find at least 20 reports of them blowing up. Purchase an spcracing battery.
If you buy slash rear arms it is possible. Go for it!
Tycoon. Listen to me. THE 6-CELL PROMATCH WILL HAVE MORE POWER THAN THE 8-CELL TINY-ERGY. IT IS MADE WITH GOOD CELLS AND LOW RESISTANCE BATTERY BARS UNLIKE THE POOR CELLS AND STEEL BATTERY BARS....
I think you guys should get together some time.
With all due respect to tycoon that is a pretty stupid idea. I can barely change a glow plug on my T-Maxx. These things are nothing but heartache.
Yah. It isn't really worth the money when you are a beginner. But after you have been in the hobby for a year so it is about time.
Get an SPC LiPo. It is well worth it. Folks in the slash forum are starting to express *****s are rubbish.
