We forget something: the switch from the ESC. Its quality is very poor, I solder all of them (I've two MMv3)
 This is a revo bashing topic and you talk about pizza. Good I didn't read that yesterday evening I ate a..soup, I'd have gone frustrated :D.
Now it's breakfest time yeaaaahaaaaaa!
Well, I used to be reasonable and go for 4S. After a year I simply wanted more, so I went for 6S with all the parameters of the castle link set at the minimum and finally I didn't broke more parts...
To sum up:
- belted tires (manufacturers have a lot of money to make with these)
- stronger bulckhead
- center diff
- steel CVDs or SUMMIT like CVDs
- bigger battery trays
Ok I see ya :)
What I have on my chassis right now:
- proline slipstream (strongest I could find)
- 60wt oil with VDP kit piston in off road position 2
- P2 rockers
- no servo (I have a DS1015...
first I wanted I car to do everything so I went for the revo.
Then I foud a track and did a "race" setup for it.
After that I found that it wasn't as efficient as a buggy so I...
Still working as if they were new :)
Running 3s doesn't mean you brake more parts. It depends on your setup, especially the castle link, on the way you drive, on the terrain etc etc..
I read everywhere "be careful with 6S you're...
It's not such a big deal I'll replace the ball ends and be careful this time :).
Is Dynamite a good brand of hex driver?
2x 4000mah 4s ********* or *******
Racing on sand? You mean soft sand?
If this is the case yes they definitely worth it ;)
I was thinking about the brand because stock hex wrenches are crap IMO
***** ********* 5800mAh 3S1P 30C
Yes they fit :)
Ok :) what kind of tool do you have?
I just installed tekno sway bars on my ERBE. I used a thread locker for the ball joints but I still managed to loose two of them on the track :(
How do you manage to tight them enough...
I'm wondering if a center diff is necessary or not on track.
I already broke one in 4s on my first run. Never understood why.. What do you think?
What diff oil do you use on your ERBE?
Thanks for your tips, I'll check that out. I have to fix the problem
I'm back from the track :)
The ERBE did a great job. The sway bars didn't.. I lost two bar retainers even if I fixed them with blue Loctite. I have chosen to install the silver in the front and...
I did it before the first time I run the ERBE a year ago. The setup is still great, I didn't touch it since then
The first jump is simply awesome :)
Thanks a lot for your tips!
I answered in black ;).
Thanks for your help :).
I had badlands taped on Jconcept rulux half-ups 1/2 offset wheels. The track is abrasive, so I'm affraid the soft AKA tires I ordered will wear fast. I will see. Badlands...
The suspension setup was too stiff in blue/silver. I think some softer springs with tekno sway bars will do a better job, like some of you said. I'm waiting for an order from tower.
I was on the track all the day and what changed the handling at most was... the exponential throttle setup from the radio. A friend of mine gave me his DX3s to try it and I had a new car! Stock radio...
