you should look in the Market Place on these here forums...wink, wink!! POINTS!!! =)
I used the stock plastic towers and cut them to fit to give me some strength and height....
John Force would be proud!
I have got mine to do over a 100mph a couple times, on the freeway. But that was while it was in the back of the pickup =)
its always good to know Snook and his genius never let up!! =)
I will have it posted tomorrow morning over there but was justgiving a heads up hear incase anyone would be interested. And know, the decision was not made in anger or my lack of rc truck skillls....
fortunately my neighbors get a kick out of watching me run mine around. Especially when I am racing cars going by ;) They all camp on their porches, hootin and hollerin :)
what tphill said
so it needs to cool off before you can get it started again??
I would say you could bend anything if hit hard enough. I would not run aluminum posts and they way I am always hitting things aluminum a arms would prolly not be a good investment for me.
That I dont know about. I would say it would but I am not familiar with their warranty. You could try using a piece of aluminum to secure it from the bottom or washers as was suggested.
I had to...
LOL there is some truth in what he said Snook but for piece of mind I prefer the aluminum bulks. I did buy a nice set of t-handle hex drivers the other night. Next is some good screws :)
or just drill your own hole where you need it. You wont compromise your chassis.
I wouldnt argue much with what you said.
ohhhh I thought you meant higher up on the sidewalls. Real beadlocks may help to keep that from happening but I havent tried them so I am not sure.
No loctite but I remember when putting the new bulks on the screw alignment was a bit difficult so it is probably pinched in the hole. Gonna try taking the other three out to give it some relief and...
get your neighbors a pack of foam ear plugs. :)
lol no comment
May just go that route too
C4 ? .
Popeye rocks!! ahhhh-ga-ga-ga-ga-ga-ga-ga
if it would allow me to get it out and not have to get a new bulkhead, I'd do it but there isnt enough material left now. Gonna try MV's suggestions
cant do the slot anymore after I used the extraction bit. :(
not gonna do it....nope, not gonna.
