Thanks for all the help everyone. After getting a 3s battery and giving it a go, I can see the huge difference now. Now to borrow my friends Go Pro camera so I can video my dog 'trying' to chase it...
So, lemansfanatic and 1fastmr2, is this what you suggest?
or this one
Both from Hobby King, obv
Assuming you mean for the wheels, it's bearings, but I may be completely wrong in my assumption
I think this may be hitting the nail on the head. Still using the same 2s lipo's I bought soon...
Just curious, I just upgraded my slash from a Titan to the Velineon motor and I was wondering, what kind of noticeable improvement should I be looking for? Ran it very briefly this afternoon and, to...
Have the proline street fighters myself and I don't think I would choose another set for pavement then these. They just seem to stick to the pavement and handling is exceptional
been looking at the castle sct 3800 combo myself, only saw great postings about it's performance. Just need to get it with all the other 'upgrades', lol.
Leaning towards the Castle SCT combo myself. Don't see myself running it in the rain much and I won't give up the stock Titan motor to do it (assuming your talking about the Traxxas 'upgrade'...

Went and bought the Thunder AC6 charger myself, 42.50. Well worth it
Would agree with Dgudenau, unless you do something really stupid (drive head on into stationary object), just slowly upgrade stuff as you go along. Bought my Slash several months ago, weekend...
Pounding the cul-de-sac and my neighbors yards (for now) in Charlotte, NC
Welcome to the Slash Addiction, lol.
As a relative newbie myself, would suggest first upgrade would be the protrac suspension kit. Found mine on ebay for 48 bucks free shipping and the response...
Was curious about the mudflaps myself, but shrug, maybe he likes the look
Curious myself Stunna
From what I've bought and shopped online for...

Grats on your new toy. I can completely say it is an 'addicting' little machine for me.
For me, it was simple enough just to drain the battery down. Full 30 minute run till it wouldn't go anymore then picked it up and ran it with no friction on the tires. Worked fine. Remember, the...
