Thanks for you reply
I have converted a Slash 4x4 with a LCG chassis, brushless motor,2 fans, foam bumper and a 3s lipo. So far I have a speed run of up to 67 mph. I have been using rubber tiers....
So now that you have destroyed a pair of perfectly good tires how are you going to destroy you car:thumbup: Joking.....
That is epic!
If it is a 4wd simple, but with the 2wd, it will be sloppy to the point that you can't drive it straight.
I don't trust that LIPO ether!
You got robed, but the parts made up for it. My advice, take the tiers away immediately! That will cause stress on the motor and gears.
From experience, The Slash 2wd is a nice truck to start off with. Simple, easy to fix, starters truck. If you are looking to run around in the dirt and do jumps, you may have some problems though....
That gotta suck, I remember when that happened to me and I spent two hours trying to get the thing to run right with oil and fluids and all that
As some of you may know i purchased a slash 4x4 ultimate with a 3s lipo about a month ago. I can get it to hit about 70-75 mph but I want some more speed so I looked at these ceramic...
I took your advice and got a slash 4x4 ultimate. I want to get a motor and esc that can handle a 3s lipos and above. Thank you so much, just when you tell me that I should get...
I'm thinking about making a speed machine out of a slash that goes 90 +mph. I want to know if it should be a 2wd or a 4wd.
I figure with a 4wd I will kind of be like a prostock and have...
I took your advice and I bought two 7.4v 5000mah lipo. Now I am completely confused. I have the ONYX245 charger and I want to know what amps to charge at "5?"
Thanks! I'm sort of new to lipo's so that really helped
I have a slash 4x4 and a 2wd but I mainly want to talk about the 2wd. I went down to the summer nationals and I got the traxxas magazine. It said that I could run a 12800mah battery. I...
Thanks for the heads up. Will do
I'm looking for a slash 4x4 with a normal set up and a brush-less motor. I live in south Jersey and I may have a slash 2wd to trade.
That Slash Guy
I would go with 4wd because if you want a brushless motor on the 2wd the only thing you can do is spin out and wheelies. If you don't want to break anything while your "bashing" you could go with a...
thanks you guys age great
My body clips on my slash keep on falling off but I can't get the bigger ones because I cant get them off. I'm not asking for a store that holds them. Is there any way you can keep them on?
wow What did you do to it! That is awesome!
The slash 4X4 is perfect for people who want to get back into RC's. If you chose the X0-1 to start off I would of said that wouldn't be good but this truck has great handling and speed so it would be...
I believe that if you are not doing flips and hard bashing the roll cage will not be a good choice. The body will protect most of it. But if you want to get one, get the new era roll bar
electrical tape will work.
this truck is good for bashing and racing and you will have a lot of fun with it.
REMBER this is not a truck that you break and buy another one. THESE ARE NOT CHEAP TARGET CARS!
