Ive got a SA1283SG on my revo... but with tiny tires and small weight of a slash im sure the 0231mg will be sufficient enough to turn those tires left and right.
Its unfortunate that savox doesnt do...
depends what you are doing and how many other RCs you have..
Me, i only got the one Revo, and bash around some place random or at the track.
Stock Tx, Rx, running a 2075 as the throttle...
nice carnage =P
tape em up. The phatlines will balloon up too
it was only $300AUD delivered. Works out to be cheaper p/L than the other cheap stuff we can get at our LHS
Better fuel at a better price, between two people it wasnt too much.
Truck looks the goods, i currently run the "Slayer RX" type box.. if i go LRP/reddot i might need a bigger tank, plus it looks pretty schmick t oo
I feel as tho running the one 2075 is better than running 2x2075s.
Defs check out the savox range, abit cheaper than the hitecs etc. And direct drop in
1256TG 277/.15 $80
1283SG 416/.13 $100
stock revo/summit wheels with proline 3.8 road rages??
engine wasnt running very well so i decided to take a look inside it
JL Reddot soon
otherwise some 1/8 scale buggy/truggy style shocks would be the go (a 4 shock setup instead of 8)
cant reccomend any personally.
gearing? make your truck lighter?
i run a Savox 1283SG in mine (416/.13) and a mate runs the 1256TG (277/.15)
Both a great for steering, and we both use the 2075 for brake/throttle which is sufficient enough for bashing. The 2075...
just me, i feel as tho i would get abit board of the summit crawling around the joint...
Get a revo/tmaxx 3.3 now, and get a summit when your bored of going fast.
I'll let you know how it is once we get to the last couple of L's =P
Just grab two of each different teeth spurs, should be enough to play around with, without changing your CB (which doenst require motor out, alot easier to play around with)
Defs grab the sway...
think its time for a new battery bud, they pretty cheap.
And maybe a decent charger if you dont have one already..
I'm getting a whole day or two of bashing around and she still runs good on...
if its your first nitro prob either a trx 2.5/3.3 or an OS .18/.21
and you can find complete screw kit on ebay for pretty cheap, every screw from a pulled down stripped down...
what servo did you go to? it might not have the correct size teeth compared to your saver (wrong size etc)
or maybe something is is stripped
i had a smaxx, sold it to a mate.. then i bought a revo..
2wd AM radio 2.5R motor etc etc plastic pipe.
smaxx as 2wd was fun, but once upgraded to a 3.3, RWD is just too much.
we both run 0 offset, they are also alot skinner than the badlands/(wheels)
unless something on your truck has started playing up, like a binding servo or glitching RX all of a sudden using ALOT of juice.
**RX packs are cheap anyways, worse case just buy another and try...
STOP STOP JUST STOP!!!
this bloke has already said it, 2WD
that is strange??
i assume its stripping spur gears cause the motor is powering on at WOT but the brakes are on so it cant go anywhere driveline locked up..
which makes it really strange cause...
meh me and a mate are pretty competitive with some of the truggies and buggies at the track, and they have alot better motors too.. not to mention alot more track time.
bit more practice and we...
