Fantom is awsome on the revo, you won't be sorry
iwata eclipse hp-cs, one of the best
as reliable as the atomic clock !!!!!
I run the fantom with a AD2 header and it rips, not too loud either
awaiting c diff and rear brakes
I've been using dental pics for years. simple and easy my toolbox always has a couple in it. They come in handy for all kinds of things but mostly cleaning out allenor phillip heads
I am not a fan of Hot Racing products, but I must say they make a killer brake set up. I have had this for about a year. Racing and bashing I cannot find any problems...no fade no wear.
Just another idea is go with a roto start system. I use it on a tmaxx and revo with never any problems
just my 2c's
I had some free time in the winter so I tried my hand at airbrushing, and I just couldn't stop till they were all done !!
I got a fantom pipe along with a AD2 manifold. The sound is great, but I am much happier with performance. It rips !!!
Here's a little sidebar.
My revo has a O.S tz and when I put it...
I have this pipe and I am very happy with it. sounds good, looks good and performs great!!!!
It is an OFNA buggy tank which holds 125cc, as far as being a direct fit i guess it depends on your set up.
Here is my setup using the RPM box
Just an fyi for those interested. I just put on a fantom pipe along with a AD2 (Drake 2) exhaust manifold on my TZ. I am absolutely blown away by the performance gain, the entire powerband seems so...
that's a fast servo... :D
I used an OFNA tank (links below). In order to mount it i used the carbon fiber kit from xtremeracing. I am using the proline steering arm with one hitec 5645 servo and it is plenty strong enough....
i use the fascolor paints and I have found you have to reduce them. It only takes a drop (from an eyedropper) or two for smooth painting. Good luck and practice on some water bottles first
Go with a Motor Saver air filter, dont waste your $$ on a supercharger. If you want more power go with a TZ engine..
Here's a link to my post that i think may be something you're looking to do
It's the Fantom pipe, I haven't raced with it yet only did a little bashing and I really cranks. I noticed it revs much quicker than the stock pipe. The manifold is from my Adam Drake 2 stadium...
I just got done doing a little weight reduction and relocation. Any ideas or comments???
I welcome the input
I had the same problem with having to tap the throttle to engage reverse. All I did was re-program the optidrive and I was all set
good things to have are Paint mask to create designs easily. I think i use my dremel more than anything, with a 1/2 sanding wheel to smooth all edges and create nice arcs for the wheel wells...
Just my 2c, I have had this from hot racing for about 4 months and it is super powerful, lightweight, with zero fade. It's cheap too !!
I put mine in the oven and they came off VERY easy. No hassle or mess. ...just my 2c
