I see a Tactic receiver, good choice on that one.
Si you bought alk three?....now that's a beginning!
Agree, don't make it fly...it will break!
And yes on the "inexpensive brushless combo"!
Tactic radio 'n receiver installed. Haven't tested it yet but it responds pretty quick on my bench.
I habe to drive it with the new radio and wheel/tire combo.
55 MPH on 4s?, that's very good.
I have to give it a test drive to see how it performa with the bigger wheels and tires.
Next thing on the "to do list" is to install my trusty Tactic radio and...
My new set of wheels and tires.
I think it looks good!
Each lipo battery pack have a certain number of cells inside. Each cell has 3.7 volts, what you see as 2S, 3S, is the number of cells connected in series inside the pack, that's what the "S" stands...
I have the sensored Xerun 150A 2200kv motor installed on my E-Maxx. No cogging at low speed, it's not waterproof they list it as "dust proof and splash proof". Highly recommended.
My bad! Anything over 50mph+ is out of any MT land, you'll better look into a Jato/Rustler setup!
Anyway good luck!
X2 on this kit everything you'll need and a bit more.
I will be going with the raptor too, not sure on which color to paint it yet, but it will be something between black, blue or red.
I think yhebtires are too big, but you can try using lowering your pinion to increase torque.
I like the look of the kongs!
Wow!, good to know. Anyway even if I have one of those I don't think I will run it under water but definitely a plus.
I've always wondered what is the difference between waterproof and splashproof. Do they mean by waterproof that you can run the esc under water?,...interesting to know because I can't imagine that...
MrSemperFi ....yessss you are wrong! It IS a 3905, checkout yours if it has the short or long chassis or if it has the "blue or orange/yellow" esc.
Not too sure but I think the RPM arms fits in...
Look at my setup and you will find your answers.
I think thet are very similar, no big difference if there is one at all.
Hobbywing has some "waterproof" and "splashproof" kits that will do the trick for you.
It should hold nice, if you have a heavy finger try loosing the slipper a little.
Nice Revo there, it will be a nice build.
Just came from a test drive with my hobbywing maxx, holding up nice too.
Here is a pic of what I have.http://img.tapatalk.com/d/12/09/13/zubenydu.jpg
I also had the same issue with the motor wires touching the body, I solved that by tilting the motor. Still have to deal with the long battery and esc wires.
Hhhmmm just noticed the non insulated connectors. X2 on the switch.
Me likes, I have the sensored 2200kv, with 150A esc. What esc is yours and are you running 2S or 3S?
Just an update on my setup, it runs pretty strong, wheelies on demand with some 2S 6000mAh 40C. I haven't played with the programming card yet, but right now it is powerful enough. Can't imagine...
Ok, that is part #5157 on the tranny diagram, some type of plug but can't figure out what's it for.
