I quit using the starter for my glow plug. Just disconnect the blue wire and use a glow plug igniter. Then just use your starter to turn the engine over.
My oldest son and daughter both had electrix circuits. They are durable. However, we are getting numbers 4, 5, and 6 Traxxas vehicles at Christmas.
Well, Graves, ive been off here for several months (from the Tmaxx forum). When I returned you done went electric on me, lol!
Oh well, Santa is bringing me a Rustler VXL for Christmas, so Im making...
Good to hear. I got my son the GraveDigger Monstaer Jam last Christmas, and this year I got him a Slash. We have a lot of fun bashing our RC's.I am very impressed with Traxxas' durability, as well.
Does that battery fit okay in your truck. I have one ordered.
Hey guys, thanks for the input
Word is Santa is bringing me a Rustler VXL. Also, he is supposedly bringing along a Traxxas 3s 5000mah lipo. Will this fit okay? I want to te up and running Christmas day (if, of course, he is...
This happened to me on break-in, too. Traxxas sent me a new slipper clutch rebuild kit and been running fine since (2 gal so far).
I just ordered parts for the violator tank mod!
May try setting everything back to factory settings and tune from there.
Fresh glow plug?
Not sure I understand your question. The 4907 is the extended chassis with 3.3 in it.
Is that what you were asking?
Actually, different filters allow more air, or restrict air, when compared to others. However, they have nothing to do with metering the air/fuel charge. With the exception of having to richer/lean...
Just search eBay for "Traxxas 2.4ghz". There will be transmitters (tx), receivers (rx), and combos (tx/rx both). Just make sure you get both.
Keep it simple, start with checking the tune. A good tuned 3.3 will flip a TMaxx over backwards!
Just FYI, the leak in the air intake wouldn't affect your mixture. The carb meters the fuel/air mixture, so any leak before that wouldn't affect the mixture. Now, if the leak was after the carb, that...
BTW, I just did this on my son's Grave Digger. Cost $40 with shipping!
It's moving forward because it's idling up, slightly engaging the clutch. This causes it to creep forward. However, don't adjust your clutch. The issue remains in the transmitter/servos.
Since you changed radios, it's probably your transmitter/servos. This is what Double G is referring to. The screw he is talking about is the center screw on the servo. Take that out, and remove the...
Check eBay, they are really cheap there from the chop shops.
So this is correct. Once forward is brake, twice is reverse.
Ah, so this is normal. I have a Tmaxx; this is my first electric. The A.M. Radio wasn't like this. Hey, thanks!
I just noticed the radio forum. I copied my thread to there since it is probably more appropriate.
I just upgraded my son's Grave Digger to Traxxas TQ 2.4ghz radio system. I have everything setup. I had to reverse the steering servo. The problem is that you have to move the trigger forward twice...
I did have to adjust throttle trim, but it didn't seem to help this particular issue.
