The stub axle and bearing are made to a slip fit. Any wear will cause an uneven surface on the stub axle thus making it difficult to remove and reinstall.

MTPOCKETS I had the very same problem and I think mostly it comes from the nitro truck to the brushless. They are so different to drive. Tim Roberts is over on Revo-world.com and offers the same...

Recently racing 1/4 mile I was able to shut the other lane down by using the slipper to my advantage. The brushless truggy I was up against went about 1/3 of the track when the front end shot skyward...
Ran my ERBE on NiMH batteries for a month before I finally bought the Lipos. Truck is slower and heavier. NiMH just don't have the current available as a good 28C lipo does. I use them as back ups...
Can't you set the punch control down a bit on those high bite tracks? That would help reduce driveline breakage. Of course set the slipper as well.

Is it less one way or both ways?
I make a one way for the tranny. It takes place of the CD and gives you all wheel braking. Make it for both the regular tranny and the rear brake set up. It removes the issue of changing diff oils...
It use to be the Canadian Winter Nationals was all in one building. Now they are in two seperate buildings that are joined by a walk through. That has allowed them to have a clearer but cooler race...
