I need a stock used RTR e-maxx, no mods needed. I am not wanting to spend over $175. Thanks
I haven't seen an 06 yet. But I have been hearing rumors the 07 superduty with the powerstroke may have twin turbos. Has anyone else heard this?
You have a PM.
I need a complete E-maxx transmission with or with-out motors. Thanks!
I'm looking for a good deal on a e-maxx. I don't want anything fancy. Am willing to spend about $200. Thanks
Be sure it has bearings with it, the 18 tooth clutch bell uses smaller bearings.
After using the integy aluminum 3-shoe clutch i am woulden't recomend it. Mine mushroomed completely over the spring, I had to basically destroy the whole thing just to get it apart. That...
I would go with the FLM Lightweight Chassis with 3 Point Lower Braces. Is very light with little or no chassis flex.
Hopefully it is better differentials with 3mm screws, 4 gear spiders and bigger bearings.
I like my Futaba 3-pm, I prefer it over the MX-3 because it is significantly lighter. Either way, both radioes are a far improvement over the stock radio.
The t-maxx would not go 50 with the Savage 25 motor because it doesen't turn as many RPM's as the 2.5.
But I agree with you on that they are both great trucks and fun.
Hey everybody, Just wanted to let you all know there is only a few hours left before my t-maxx's auction is over. Check it out.
Look for a extended .21 chassis on ebay. I got a racer's edge .21 chassis for $16 with shipping from rcboyz.
Here is the 2 peice spur gear in steel or plastic.
I have been around 3 savages and they are much stronger than the t-maxx. Bestel, I don't think that it is fair to say the savage is not as strong as the t-maxx. There is no way a t-maxx would...
You might get more answers on a forum that dealt more with big block engines. Try a savage forum maybe?
If I understand your question right, the speed of the 2 trucks are pretty close. The maxx will have better handling. But as far as tuffness goes, you can't beat the savage. I'm not saying the maxx...
Yeah, everybody looses them if you don't zip tie it on or something. Seems like I usually find one laying on the ground everytime I go to the track.
Be sure to check all the bearings too. Bad bearings can cause the ring and pinion to not mesh properly and they will prematurely fail. The bearings in the sides of the case seem go bad first, this...
I'm selling one of my t-maxx's on ebay. This truck is very well taken care of and set up right.
This will fix all your problems.
Or you can get these, they are cheaper. My friend used them for a while, but he kept breaking the...
I roasted my 2-speed gears in my tranny after about an hour at the track.
I think i'm going to upgrade to the RRP top shaft and the Monster GT 2-speed gears.
Look here, they are a losi dealer.
You need this nut.
It uses this style clutch.
I don't believe one is necessary unless you are running a .21 or bigger engine, even with a .21 it is questionble that you need it. They will actually hurt performance because they weigh more,...
