Last week, I was doing a couple of street runs to retune - drove too
close to my parked car - the front right wheel on the jato caught the
rear left wheel on my Civic - at 50+ mph. Needless to say,...
I bought a used Jato. Was advertised as 'VERY well maintained'.
I had to replace about $85 in parts because they were broken and there
was sand in EVERYTHING. Lesson well learnt.
You mean the top plate?
You have to unscrew quite a few screws.
Unscrew the Top plate mounting screws
Uncrew the steering servo
Take the servo arm off the throttle servo - you may have to also...

What size bearings?
IME gunk can get into the brake piston and jam it up causing complete failure
of the brakes. I bought mine used and although there were multiple
problems with the brakes - one of them was sand in...
I picked up a Rustler for my son yesterday and I'm trying to figure
out which battery to get for it. I don't want to upgrade the motor (yet)
and I'm we're not racing - just need to get longer runs...
