The dry wall tape is sticky so just cut to fit the areas you want strengthened. Then smear the shoe goo over the tape. I just put a glop(technical term) on my finger and smeared it around. I let it...
You can strengthen the body with all sorts of different materials. I used dry wall tape and shoe goo.
i like the extra height on mine. My Greg Adler body has all kinds of rub marks and areas of no paint left. I didnt want that to happen on my new body. By next year i will probably lower it after...
you can do it! My first body came out ok. Find yourself a piece of clear plastic that you can practice on first. i used the plastic off of something completely unrelated to RC vehicle and tried it...
I'm jealous... That's like tire heaven.
Jrmbtr, yeah you would have to trim a bunch. I had to use the proline extended body mounts.
i think the RPM looks better in front and the stock looks better in back

I have a hard time with the back straightaway, my depth perception isn't as good as I thought it was
You must be driving up at SDRC! I'm terrible on that track.
That looks awesome!
Guessua I love the look of those shocks. Your chassis would look sick if it was dyed red or black.
I still need to get a few stickers, but it has turned out a little better than i thought.
Ok so I actually did this on Sunday. Added all of the blue RPM parts, Proline body mounts, F/R sway bars and new rims/tires. I finished painting my first body yesterday... its not great by any...
SDRC is really the only track down here. It's indoor and pretty nice.
I have the rally bumper on order and I picked up the pro line extended length body posts with the screw caps
I just read that too. thanks! It loooks like they require extended mounts as well. I wish it would say that on the body package.
Good afternoon everyone. This is my first post, I've been lurking for a few months. This weekend I got ambitious and bought a new body for my 4x4 Slash. The stock body isn't in the best of shape. ...
