the bec on the mmp is weak , it cant handle a good servo , not sure why but there is a reason they sell the external bec , ???
u can find at tower or ebay
yep im sold on the teknos , way better then mips any day . get rear cups for the front and shim everything nice and your good to go .
yes , heres link to the ones i got -
and u need to get smaller shims too , outer diamiter smaller , amain has...
i guess but i had to back them out to were it looked like it was loose , maybe its just mine, thanks guys
also wanted to add that teknos blow the mips away , much nicer setup , just as strrong,...
no cause im screwing into plastic so i dint need it
sorry i think you guys are misunderstanding me , im using the tekno steering blocks , but imtalking about the c block that the steeing blocks sit in , the top and bottom screws , when i wrench them...
Is anyone running the teknos in the traxxas aluminum c blocks , when I tighten the tight they are frozen , are they ment for plastic only c blocks ?
Ok fine u guys are right , lol
Bought 2 sets of goosebumps last week and ran them Saturday and all 4 came off rim within few hrs , so I email them and she calls me and says we can not warrenty then because after every run I'm...
i wouldnt get metal bearings , they let dirt in , the acer ceramic look nice and tight .
just get fast eddie , .99 cents each , we have been going through boca greens just as fast as stock , nothing special
hey ur on to something , there is a snall slot for the rubber , maybe a small bearing will fit , im going to try to measure it , thanks apex for the idea
thanks apex , but i dont see any way to do that on the 4x4 , unless we can get some kind of one bearing instead of cup
thats what i ment by mips ,. yes the heavy duty ones , the axles break or bend every week .
great video joe , hard to tell what truck was yours though , lol
not happy with mips anymore , to many issues they have to work out . tried the fastlanemachines and they were awsome but they had a very thin spot on shaft that made no sense and they both broke...
nevermind , its the diff cup wearing out and the shaft is moving around in there
I'm talking about the diff side not the wheel side , take ur 2 fingers and grab the mip joint the screws into diff and wiggle it
I use those through pins but the axle shakes so much it makes the bearing inner hole open up and I get a severe wobble and I'm not the only one
let me know if you can find them instock anywhere ?
is that what ur looking for ?
alot of wheel for such small hex but you can double nut it , or just check them every battery like we do !!!
+1 on front mud flaps rpm , get this to R and D tonight !!! , lol
any way to shim the mips ,cause i can take the mip closest to diff and move it 1/4 inch in each direction on end of diff gear ,
its nice right , did u happen to tell steve what ATC standed for , lol
