I would NOT run those 2200 NimH on that system, as it does not provide nearly enough discharge rate. Also, the batteries and/or ESC might get damaged when you slow down/break, as these batteries...
I find 18/54 @ 2S is the sweet spot for bashing on the ERBE. My temps generally don't go past 130-135.
You can usually get entire new diffs off eBay for around $10-$20.
Because I would be more likely to have nail polish nearby than loctite ?!?!?!
Hi guys -
I recently decided to try the ever-so-popular badlands + rulux half-ups combo. I have previously used badlands on normal-sized rulux rims with no issue.
When mounting the badlands on...

I was out bashing pretty hard yesterday, and realized that whenever I miss a jump and tumble like crazy, my rear toe gets really messed up. I end up having to readjust my rear toe-in after...
You may not have had that problem if you were using the regular rulux and not the half-ups, as the sidewall would allow more flex. I am still not sure why everyone here is using the half-ups.
Unless you want to do a field repair while you're out bashing, go ahead and swap it out now.
Just take a stab at it. Worst case the motor will spin the opposite direction of what you want. If that happens, simply swap any two wires. Don't worry, you won't hurt anything.
Yes, it will. For the Revo/Summit wheels, you just have to put the 14/17mm adapter on the wheel itself and then attach it to the balancer.
Humm - well again I believe I know how to drive without abusing the truck, so I don't think my situation falls under #3...
