Awesome, I just got back too. The rest of my Revo rebuild stuff should get here on Monday then the Revo will run for the first time in like 4-5 years.
Build looks awesome so far. Just remember with a metal spur gear you need to make sure you're slipper clutch isn't set to tight. Without the weak point of a plastic spur any harshness will make it...
I just got some BF Sport Comp 2 summers for my 350Z and love them.
A bit of 5 min epoxy or jb weld would probably get you up and running but that would probably cost more than the new one if you don't have some around. Just if you can't wait.
Any good high performance 2-stroke oil for motorsports would be fine, just don't run stuff for lawn tool like chain saws. So like $5 a gallon max for oil or so if you buy the small containers.
There was a model run of the Revo 3.3 that did not come with reverse.
These are what made me have to have a Revo.
Might have a chance at one of these working. People have fit .31 nitros in revos.
I should have a better go at it this time now that I have the money and patience plus a fresh automotive engineering education. I think I was a little young for nitro it when I got into it especially...
Because wheels, tires and 17mm hex are expensive and mine are fine for now I already spent $400 today haha. One day Ill get new wheels and a new body but for now I just want it up and running.
Ya it's the same chassis.
I think I have some work ahead of me, I took it apart probably 4 years ago, hopefully I can get it back together.
And here's all...
All you should need are control arms, drive shafts, wheels, body and bumpers.
I've been out of the RC game and off the forum for a few years now and I remember these threads being fun and now I can finally contribute (I was too young to drive when I was really into RC). Here's...
Check amazon for the chassis, I just ordered one for like $10
Hey guys, it's been a while since I've had a running truck and even longer since I've been on here. Just ordered about $400 worth of stuff for my Revo including a new engine and chassis. I'll finally...
Thanks for the link i'll check it out.
ya about the psu my buddy told me make sure get a good one. He is in university right now for game design/animation etc. and helped me choose components. He has a really nice, expensive rig. Right...
How many of you guys have done it. I'm thinking about doing it soon. I plan on using an AMD x4 (quad core) processor, asus mobo, 4gb ram, asus/nvidia overclocked GTX560
ya the wheels are clean because i ran without the body the next day before i took the picture so the wheels got cleaned up.
I use the Integy (yes I know Integy) 2 shoe aluminum clutch. The shoes look just like stock and they last forever but they do not come with springs. MIP sells springs separately.
This is what my Revo looks like after a nice bash in the rain.
Post your mud pictures
I'm pretty sure I have looked into it and it won't work. If you go to www.towerhobbies.com and search the rims and the tires they give you the dimensions of both and you can see for yourself.

Here's mine. First one I have carved in a few years.
