Nope, I broke my rear shock mount I ended up adjusting my piggy backs with some different weight oil and I haven't had an issue..
If you get one let us know how it goes.
The response tires on my revo platinum with the dish rims are great in dirt.
Replacing the pads is a great advice.. those things will come apart after running pretty hard and they are fairly cheap..
I run dirt hawgs and they are awesome in dirt and grass, On the street they will wear out fairly quick. I have the stocks.. and when you get those in a little bit of dirt they slide everywhere.

Well about the turnbuckles I know the indentation is a left thread indicators, I usually install them all facing the same side to make adjustments much easier i can turn them all the same way.
