I would say motor size! 2200kv will spin the wheel on the first trigger shot... 2650 have less torque, less clutch slipping more traction and less slipping. i have the tekin T81550kv/rx8 gen2 combo...
You might have a worn bearing in the front of your truck... that causes one frontwheel to rotate faster that the other... that could be the cause of the pulling to one side.

It happenned to me, it was the motor mount that wasn't aling properly. You can also check for the tranny bearings, maybe one is worn out.
