My biggest blunder was when I converted my original .15 max to the 2.5 motor. I did all the linkage and got everything adjusted. Took it out for a spin and all was fine until my receiver battery...
Definately the original Pro.15 Maxx with the narrow suspension. The pipe looks like the original stock plastic 2 piece and stock header. The throttle linkage is also original. Before I converted my...
Wings on to the second round with a SWEEP of Phoenix. Now we just have to wait and see who we will play next round.
I have been running a Futaba S9402 (111 in-oz torque and .1sec/60 deg @ 6V) for my throttle/brake servos on my TMaxx and Revo. I like the quicker response time for the throttle and torque for braking...
Wings all the way to the cup!
I wanted more speed and torque but I am still using the stock radio. The Hitec 985 is pretty quick (.13 sec@6v) and stronger (175oz-in@6v) than the 645. The draw back is it is ~$80. For me, it is...
I currently get Xtreme RC Cars and RC Car Action. Sub for RCCA is about to expire and will probably let it go. I like Xtreme better and just can't justify 2 subs at this time.
The main thing you need is the throttle bell-crank and post. This allows you to run a slide carb instead of the rotary. You would also need the T-maxx 2.5 header.
As for the 1.5 being...
I'm with TMaxxer. If this is a show body and Maxx, I would remove the stock bumpers and drop the body as far as I could.
All in all, a great deal on a great looking body.
never been a fan of conan. couldn't get interested in the tonight show with him. I like leno the best but don't stay up to watch any of them.
My favorites would be the HPI Dodge Ram and Proline 50's Chevy pick up. I would like to get the Ford F150 Raptor body next for my Max
I would guess that you took one or both of the diffs out during the installation of the new trans. One of the diffs are in upside down. I believe there is the word "up" molded into the diff...
50 and married with a 19 and 13 yr old son and 13 year old daughter
We have a '95 Crownline 186BR and a '96 Polaris SLX700 PWC
I did this conversion a few years ago to eliminate the 1/2 tank leaning "problem". I swapped the locations of the reciever box and the tank. I have not had any problems since.
I will try to post...
You will only have front wheel brakes.
Parma used to make one. I don't know if they are still available.
I subscribe to both RCCA and XRC. Like them both for what they are. I don't really like the boat stuff in RCCA but can deal with it. XRC is more PG13 or R rated based on the models they use but I...
The last time I went (still at the Silverdome) it was an RC club out of Taylor that was there. I can't remember the name.
Here is my list
RC10-original gold tub - Still have
Kyosho Optima Mid
2) Bolink Legends
I currently own all listed below
When I converted my Pro.15 Maxx I used the original drive shafts. The only other thing you will have to get is longer toe links. I believe the I used the .15 rear links on the front with the 2.5...
Shawnp makes a great point. With the shorter suspension arms the Slayer will need lower rate springs than the Revo. Try the 1.8 or 2.0 rate springs and you should be in the ballpark.
I have a Revo tank (125cc) on my T-Maxx. I swapped the tank and reciever so the Revo tank is in the right front corner of the chassis.
I can't add pics right now as Image Shack is blocked here...
I also had the Cox VW Bug. I had so much fun tearing the thing apart and putting it back together. I could never get the hang of the string control planes. I crashed so many within the first 3 or...
For the drive shafts you will need:
"wide" a-arms of your choice. (I have RPM)
T-Maxx or Revo 3.3 knuckles including the bearings
New front and rear turn buckles from the 2.5R or 3.3 T-Maxx.
