I am using a single Hitec 7995tg and as Pavment said the servo saver is the limiting factor. In a high traction area or when the wheels are against an object the servo will move the steering arm, I...
I here you on that. I just got my plow build done and want it to snow badly. I was out plowing mulch in the flower beds :)
I got a used 2.4ghz version for 300 shipped to my house. I disassembled, cleaned, greased bearings, dyed chassis, reassembled with a couple new parts totaling under $40 including a new dewalt 14.4v...
I never noticed a problem with mine until like you said about 125 ft away. It would do the exact same thing as yours. I am running lipos too. I think I will try installing caps this weekend. It is...
Igore- Thank you. I will plug it into the open steering spot for now.
87 GN- I have a Castle Link I use from my erbe so I have already set it to 6.0 volts :D
Thank you for the link! That is good info.
If I am to use the CCBEC to power everything and not just my steering servo where do I plug in the power to the receiver, since ch 5/batt is being...
Does anybody know where to solder the leads of a Castle Creations BEC in order to power it from both the battery packs? I am running the stock ESC off of 2-2s lipos. I am going to use it to power my...
No caps here with 2.4 and no interference at all.
Reod12x2- Yes you could mount a stock motor back in the mount. All you have to do for the Dewalt motor is elongate the stock holes out a little...
I put a LVC in mine. The only reason I used that instead of the LVA is because I wanted everything to remain waterproof. Just shoved the LVC in the reciever box. Works fantastic so far.
My 14.4 Dewalt motor will be here Monday :D so thank you for the helpful tips and the pictures.
My ******* 3s had the same problem. I cut the white foam padding back carefully and heated solder up. Then I pulled the wires back slightly so they were coming out the end.
Telnets, what pinion and spur are you running?
The usb plugs into the castle link, then the castle link plugs into the wire from the esc that goes into the receiver.
Connect the castle link to the esc and use the software from Castles website to adjust it. http://www.castlecreations.com/downloads.html
It is under the 'basic' tab i believe.
I am going though the exact same thing. All my parts came from a brand new erbe being parted out on ebay. I got everything shipped to my door for just over $100. Thats including everything to make my...

Nice yamaha :D the ramp is sweet too
Kind of depends on what you plan on doing with it i guess. I love my red dot but there are sometimes/places the 3.3 would have been absolutely perfect and and a more manageable power. Thats just me...
There was one left after i got mine. It must have went fast.
I snagged mine two weeks ago from superior hobbies. They were the only place that had any left. I love this engine:wub:

June seams to be the general consensus, but some say end of March(doubtful)
I like the look. Definitly have to drop the bell some teeth.
^ He probably just stacked the BB seal that came with the pipe on top of a SB seal. Atleast thats what i did for my red dot.
