You must be looking at a link to the old UE forum because the UE forum is al ive & kicking!! Plenty of pic's & info over there for your build.
Losi Zombie's, good all round tire.
Are you having problems lining up where the bulks screw to the chassis? In the UE instruction sheets for these chassis it says you may need to file the ends of your bulks to the chassis. They make...
I have both and was just curious what made you feel the FLM were better. If you are using the UE super shocks or Ofna equivalent buggy shocks you don't really need any more adjustments positions than...
So J-DUB, Could you explain to me why the FLM tower's are better than the UE Knucklehead towers? I would really like to hear this!
Yes you must have the mount to mount the Picco to a stock chassis!
Find you a set of the UE super shocks with the UE Knucklehead towers and you will be good to go.
A spool basically locks the differential and it is very hard on drive line parts. You may want to reconsider that move especially with the stock slider shaft's.
From my experience the OS .18 is very comparable to the TRX 3.3 performance wise. The OS is usually easier to tune and hold a tune better than most small blocks available. The OS is a very reliable...
I have ran into this problem numerous times, I found the best cure for this to be ginding the flywheel collet down a little to move the flywheel back, just make sure you don't take off to much or the...
Ok one more time, UE Knucklehead towers with GA 7075 bulks. I do have some of the FLM hybrids and haven't had any problems with them but I still perfer the GA bulks. The UE knucklehead towers will...
If you look on ebay there is a seller that sell's seal kit's & plastic repair parts, I can't remember his name off hand. Just do a search for Proline pwer stroke shocks.
I quality wing mount & wing is one of the best investments on a maxx truck. Take the advice of the people that have been doing this for quite a while, get a set of GA 7075 bulks & a set of UE...
Actually UE has been making some more part's an restocking a few things here and there. I'm pretty sure they have the 6mm cups back in stock now.
Because they were made by a very small company and the cost was to high for the average Joe which made them hard to sell. Plus the fact that you had to have the lower braces from UE Thunder chassis...
The chassis was made by DUH Engineering, it used the lower braces are from the UE Thunder chassis. It is no longer made, I believe there were only 8 of them made.
You don't need a warranty with the UE.
Get some UE super shocks & knuckle head shock towers and you will be set as far as shocks & towers go.
I'll second what cmckella said on the UE Thunder chassis, I have never seen or heard of a bent one.
The Resonator works good and the THS-1045 pipe header combo works really well on them also.
If you have an easy start glow plug lead wire just hold the wires on each end of a AA battery and away you go.
I've been running the LRP .28 for a while now on my full UE thunder chassis truck and that motor rips for the price. It is a fuel hog though. You better do some serious beefing up of the drive train...
Get you a UE Thunder chassis with a mono-block, can't beat the Thunder chassis.
