Go to You Tube and lookup (how to set steering servo end points)
That noise would be the bushings at each end of the motor . Most likely it saw some water before it was stored a yr ago . Some light lube should fix it right up but if not the motors are like 30...
I say seal them and hope no water finds its way in. I use a small piece of black electrical tape over the 2 vent holes. If you dont like them after a few runs just remove the tape no harm done but...
So what kind of time frame did you have in mind?
Larger ring and pinion is absolutely in the works.
ALL I NEEDED TO HEAR ^_^.
I was hoping to hear you had plans for a larger ring and pinion but I know that would be lots of work. I'm sure you don't want to give away too much info just yet. Could you tell us just what parts...
You have my attention now spill the beans!!!!
LEM Leading Edge Machining. http://store.leadingedgemachining.net/default.asp
Made possible by LEM aluminum axles!
That's pretty cool man I never found a copy of the mag. The wife bought the digital issue but its just not the same.
Just a thought but maybe you could try mixing the red and blue. Make sure you clean off any grease or oil before applying and let it set 24 hrs before lubing and installing.
Wow i was about to guess it was the left steering servo!!!!!!!!
Are you using the right pins? The correct pins should have a groove in the center for the grub screws to seat into. Have you tried using 2 grub screws .
Are you having trouble getting the shock eye into the mount #tra5317?
So I looked around and cant find a copy of the July RC Car Action . The wife did buy the digital issue but still looking for the mag....
Sorry my bad I could have worded that better. By shock load I mean sudden impact on the diff gears such as hard launches or landing while still on the throttle.
The main thing keeping my diffs together would have to be the LEM upgrades. Second would be that I no longer try back flips with a 30lb Summit. Throttle control and turning up punch control also...
Got an email last night from RC Car Action saying they picked OVERKILL as Reader Ride of the month for July. The issue goes on sale starting in May.
For anyone around Maysville, Ky there will be a 2 day Beat The Creek Challenge May 14-15. The host said we are welcome to bring the Summits and have fun. With over 2 miles of trails over all kinds of...
After installing the slipper clutch eliminator I quickly snapped the front and rear drive shafts. You can hear the front shaft snap around 29 seconds in .I ordered 2 of...
A little off subject but worth a mention . After a few emails I convinced Medic to to review some LEM upgrades. This is the video of the unboxing .
I'm running the MM2200 on mostly 4s but 6s from time to time. Plus I'm a lot rougher on the Slash then my Summit. The Slash gets full throttle launches quite often from me and the kids.
I have tried a few HR parts and have not been happy with any so far. I run all the LEM stuff in my Summit and its held up great. So if the Revo diff cup doesn't work I will see if LEM can make a cup...
I was just getting ready to ask if that would work.
