Next upgrade....... Thinkin FLM slash axles. Strengthen it up.
Thanks, ya no traction in gravel or grass, i'm just using them for street, i have my badlands for everything else.
So here's the newest upgrade! Slash 4x4 tires and wheels, work great!http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6018/5944918668_f4d7c0ce7a_b.jpg IMAG0026.jpg by Kylewelch78, on Flickr
I have front and rear. Second set on both. Warranty is great. 2nd set has taken more punishment than the 1st. Holding up good.
It's taken a 20' failed backflip to the lid. And I can stand on it.
It's a slash 4x4 slipper. Robinson racing #7854
I got it off the bay. $36 shipped.
Took the rusty out, Robinson racing slipper is sweet! Good hookup. I would highly recommend this part.
thx albino, work in progress.
fresh paint on the rusty.http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6128/5935475740_92af9edc40_b.jpg IMAG0024.jpg by Kylewelch78, on Flickr

no not cad design'd, i just was stating my background, lol.
no, lol, not really, its the time, less time weaker cage, i work in manufacturing(cnc, cad, etc.) so i drew it out and built 3 before i found the strongest design, stronger than alot of others, like...
Rod, i think i went thru maybe 7' or 8', not much( with some mistakes)
T-boneracing.com, rubber wheels, wide stance, not adjustable though, lifetime guareentee
a grand into the total truck, 2yrs old, many many broken parts, many alum upgrades, over time it just added up. lol
ya stock system, 32p gears though, 2s lipo
they are RPM revolvers i run front wheel all the way around, the tires are panther, i got them from hobbies4life.com
probably around a grand in total, lol, dont tell my wife
so thinking of 1/8 wheels w/ 17mm adapters, badlands of course, anyone use these?
once i get my welder back up i have time to make some.
thanks, 1/8" cold roll steel, .024" thick sheet steel, mig welded. attatched in 6 points on rusty. top of rear shock tower, and 4 bolt positions on upper chassis.
so i'm seeing alot of hit on my thread... so tell me what you think!
