I would just ask which one it is. The best is the new model. You will not need to do that much at all to it, except stiffen the shocks IMO. The maxx will jump fine...chargers is your choice. surely...
Not to mention, 45 is not the cheapest or the easiest to obtain in a maxx. It can be done, but tires will be an issue as far as control.
Dual BL, that would be great!
Or go to RC Monster.com and they will answer any question you have. The difference is with brushed motors, you get less power and of course they have brushes. A BL motor is ran off a rotating magnet...
What Dicky T said plus eliminates any kind of flex and LOOOOOKS cool. Nah, Just flat out better.
Novaks Warranty is not the best, trust me. They'll find some way to blame it on you, or something you did. And I would not gear it 14 70, more like 11 72!
I run the Racer X which is much like the wide ext version, a tad better. The handling on these things is greatly improved. Really a great design IMO. good job Clod Maxx!
Your first charge, go slow, then you should be fine. run 'em, let them cool, charge em
WOW! Notice there is no plastic around the batts! Did you fry anything? LOL
Safer yes, false peaking is not always caused by delta peak. Depending on the charger (assuming it's the 977?) it could be the charger, and sometimes, setting the delta peak a notch or two will also...
Plastic diff housings / casings cause flex as well. Not that I'm praising Integy, but their casings work well with FLM diff cups.
this is very true....and like BP said, ti is better an the more support you have, the stronger it will be.
that's cool to hear. I haven't had any issues with my 3.3 yet except a new piston and sleeve. but with the 6 gallons through it and really hard driving, I don't think that's too bad....I really beat...
how much does that go for usually?
it would be nice if they came out with a tranny that is more capable to handle the 3.3. I'm going on my third one soon.
Thanks, I may have with the 2.5, but my 3.3 stays really cool compared to the 2.5...thanks for all the help guys!
But how is it compared to the 3.3?
looks good! took some work it looks like!
I like the CF upper plate there, looks pretty nice! What motor is that? Looks like a .12?
How is the OS 18 compared to the 3.3?
Yes, that makes perfect sense. I have always ran the 59 plugs. But maybe should stick with it even though I upped the nitro content to 30%. I'm running a 3.3 and 2.5 with the 30%....
Yeah man, this is what i read, I couldn't find it back! but everyone is telling me to use a hotter plug...this is the whole reason i asked, because it confused what I was told by my LHS. So...
I would think if you gear the jato right you keep keep it on the ground and could win. But I also think that traction wise, the 4tec would do better. TEst and see would give a definate solution...
I thought, or I read that if you up the nitro content, you want a colder plug? Now i'm confused! So if i'm using 30% in my 3.3 and 2.5, which is the best plug guys? Still the MC-59?
Thanks. I now use 30% though. Wonder if I shold get an 8, or continue to use the 59?
