Love it. And I don't even like Baja bodies. This looks incredible. Well done!
That's weird cause the parts list does show foam inserts. Check here:
Part number 3665 shows foam inserts.
Also, you will need...
Yea I tried that but they won't sticky it for some reason.
Also, I'm not able to correct the links because the forum won't let you update posts after a certain amount of time. That's mainly why...
Well thanks for looking. Let me know if you ever get a hold of one and how it works out.
No worries. Just let me know what you find, thanks!
That's a great idea. Did you check out the body for fitment last night?
Yea I love the BF body. It was a pain to trim though. The spoiler pieces suck to trim and get smooth. I don't even use the rear piece anymore as it always pops off after flipping. It still looks...
Anyone know if this proline crawler body will fit the pede? I think the wheelbase is off:
Thanks! And that's a great question. I didn't intend to do any hardcore runs with it because of the work I put in and how it looked. I was just going to use the stock body and put this on...
It's the Parma Bigfoot '97 (#10199). Yea I can't wait for those tires to be available. It will definitely be a good match.
Thanks man, I appreciate that. It was good practice either way. I'm looking forward to trying something a bit more difficult. I really like the Jeep Rubicon body but I don't think it will fit...
Yes, I know. We've all seen Bigfoot before and it was probably well overdone in the past, but it's still my favorite monster truck. What ruined it was the crappy Radio Shack-type Bigfoot RC's out...
You could also try the RPM Body Savers. Great concept, however, when I tried them on my Parma body it was too thick for them to work.
Sounds good, thanks for the info. I ordered the parts, so I'll give it a shot.
Hey guys, did you ever end up testing the rear toe reduction on high traction surfaces?
I bought the same battery but in a 50c hard pack. It fits with ease. I don't have much to compare it too, but I'm very impressed with it so far.
Very nice! I really like the idea of a cage for added durability. I can't exactly tell from the pics - is it touching the roof of the body or is there a gap? Just curious. Also, do you know about...
This is all great news. I'm really looking forward to these tires.
Holy crap, that popsicle stick and c-clamp idea is genius! I'm going to give it a shot tonight.
Thanks a lot everyone!
I was wondering about that. Which dremel tool would you use for that, and for opening up the holes on the traxxas plug a bit? The grinder?
I think dremeling out the holes on the trx connector is a good idea. I'll give that a shot. As for soldering, I only went with the 40 watt because that's what the instructions said. I also have...
Last night I had a really hard time soldering the wire to the traxxas leads. Admittedly I'm a complete soldering newb. But here is what I did... Because of the huge 8 ga. wire that ******* uses,...
Based on the specs, it looks like the monster jam wheels/tires are 5.3"?
I just called Traxxas to get more info. They confirmed that these would work on the Stampede 4x4 with no modifications needed. However, they probably won't be available for a few months. I think...
Try recalibrating it per the manual. Also, try resetting your transmitter to factory defaults. That's in the manual as well.
