Well sounds like the single servo is the way to go!
Never really had any issues with my erevo servos, but my stampede is brutal, its really slow. going to upgrade that one i think
.I broke mine aswell using 6s
After a couple phone calls to traxxas they sent me a whole new set :). (cause you cant buy the dog bones individually)
You can buy the drive cups, is it just the pin...
I dont mean to take over your thread, but why do people go with a single servo rather than two, what benefits are there?
Small rocks getting into the esc fan worries me.
Wrapping it in pantyhose is a good idea, never thought of that one
My new stampede out of the box couldnt wheelie for the life of me, i then put 3s lipo in it and it still wouldnt wheelie!
Turned out the esc was set in training mode so it was only getting like...

I think I'm going to switch back to 4s, not as interested in speed runs. I'd rather use it all terrain, and hit a few jumps.
I'll get some pictures of it!
I know its not water proof, I only take it out when its cold enough that the snow doesn't get a chance to melt, I then clean it off with the air compressor.
Yup I did, thanks!
I've been around these forums for awhile, only now joining because I've ran into this issue.
I'll loosen the slipper clutch, don't think it would make much difference because...
Very dissapointed in my erevo brushless edition!
I was using the stock batteries for a while and then I decided to pick up some 11.1v 3s lipos.
The thing is absolutely insane with two 3s lipos, but...
