Racers at my track are hearing the newer release of the Slash is coming with S1 racing compound tires? Can anyone confirm this?
Wheel base is the distance between the front and rear tire centers. Axle extenders do not make the wheel base wider. They make the track wider which in Tamiyas question about "wouldn't that give more...
Not true about the broken belts. A past IFMAR off road champion car has been re-released and is belt driven.
Gotta throw in a pitch for the blinky too.
Me too. If they really want to get big, they have to race East of the Mississippi. Cant cater to half the country. Theres many dirt oval tracks in Pennsylvania and New York. They can easily build an...
Any race schedule out yet?
Sorry to make your decision more difficult. The Campbell Hausfeld is the best of the 3.
Krio, do you have any spacers in the front shocks? what hole do you have the shock bottoms in?
I just watched the suspension work the whole time. Awesome video. Learned a little about the slash suspension geometry and how it works by watching. Krio...what is the suspension set up?
That sounds encouraging. 2 of these are in New Jersey, and 1 is in Pennsylvania. The one in Pennsy is the only 1 of the 3 with a track. I thought that one was doing the best of the 3? Very surprised...

Stainless Steel IS softer. It doesnt rust because it has less iron content and more nickel and chromium in it. These alloys ARE softer than iron. Iron gives fasteners strength. But it rusts. I...
Be careful about selling registered trade marks. I read where a large motor company nailed a guy doing that with a cease and desist order from their attorneys.
I got laid off in 96.I worked several jobs to make ends meet until I found something in my industry. 8 months it took. Where there a will, theres a way.
Its not 4 wheel drive and will get smoked by real 1/8th scale buggies.
I did the same several years ago. Different scheme. If I can find it ill take a pic and send it to you. Hey arent fire trucks supposed to be red? LOL
Brushlessman, what about friction in bearings, between gears, in universal joints and wind resistance?
If you were a member of the Tower Purchasing club, you can get 60 dollars off of a 300 plus purchase and free shipping.
With Custom Werks you have to take out a second mortgage to buy their stuff. Traxxas would knock em out with a RTR for half their price.
Dont know why you guys say that. If you have patience, you can get the parts REALLY cheap. My brother in law bought a bunch of spare parts for 99 cents each. If you have the time you can find the...
Stay away from Stainless. They are too soft. Tonys all the way. AVID bearings are good too. Have the revolutions on my 1/8th scale. CEEEEEEEEAP too.
Look at the video Traxxas has on how to solder their connections. Very easy to do.
