aluminum isnt heavy enough
does anyone make weights to mount to the front end of the summit for better climbing? yea i know i can add lead but i wanted something that looked more finished.
what mode is the esc in? what batteries are you running. servos buzz/hum when they are on and specially if there is some tension on them. thats not the problem tho.
i suspect either your esc and...
whats a good tire and wheel combo thats lite?
i agree. but its good to go.
no they are sealed.
i figured it out. it doesnt need the tlock module. i dont know why it was in there. now i just have to wire in a Y harness and ill be golden.
it uses the t lock circuit board and everything looks to be hooked up correctly.
So I bought a used summit for a good price. right now iam trying to figure out why i can only have the diffs locked or unlocked. i can not lock just the front diff.
i reset all the shifting servos...
I bought a Summit used and it has some proline Trenchers on it. They feel super heavy. I dont have the stock tires but I was wondering if anyone knows what a good light tire set up would be?
no the LT Summits use the suspension arms, rockers and springs as well as wheels from a Traxxas nitro Slayer. It makes the truck look more scale.
Pondering if i should do the LT conversion or keep my summit stock. Have many of you dont it here?
it was the rear pinion bearing. it blew an caused the rear ring and pinion to chew up the small balls.
google summit lt.
So i just picked up used summit. It has been sitting for awhile and i took a chance on buying it. Anyway i ran it and i hear this popping/crackling noise that is very random. It sounds like plastic...
none. sorry. lost a little steam with this as indoor racing is starting up.
guy i already have 2.2/3.0 tires on it. i was wondering what other wheels fit that are 2.2 as i want to go to a larger crawler tire.
yea i have a set of the 2.2/3.0 super swampers and they are to small. i know you can get the 6 hole rims and and use axial adapater but they are weak. tried them and blew out the center of the wheel.
What 2.2 wheels fit the p4de with out having a crazy offset
the next step in this ongoing project...
one would think so but this thing is a tank. soft springs are compressed by its weight.
i ordered some last night so we will see.
i still havent bought new parts as im not sure what direction ill be going in. however i did mount up my sc super swampers and i started to paint the driver. i wanted to get an idea how it looked...
the same place that makes the cage i have (vg racing) also have springs but they dont give yea the lbs they are.
so the maiden voyage didnt go very well. pulled the screws right through the wheel.
