if you want to use 540 size motors from 1/10 cars you will have to run two motors I would think to handle the weight and 4x4 of the Emaxx, maybe two 21.5 brushless systems?
Just open it up where the toggle switches are and try one at a time if they are not marked per channel
Nice one. Will have loads of fun with that system
Glad to hear the rebuild is going well.
If you have lipo soft packs that works then yes use them, its not like its going to race where your obligated to use hard packs.
You have more...
So did you get to remove the foam pads?
Hi and welcome.
Congrats on the new truck.
I too recently joined here and also got a good deal on a lightly used 3906.
Good luck with your rebuild.
It a pleasure.
That make perfect sense now.. if there is anything on the bottom of the battery tray like the foams you are talking about that will definitely cause the lipo's not to fit, because...
I'm very glad to know I at least have the wide maxx.
That is very weird, I have 3 different tips of Lipo's and they all fit...
Thanx for showing me the differance...
I don't have a pic with me but will take one tonight, but here is a pic showing what to remove.
In the pic you will see I circled two sections on the gear cover, these tabs I believe was ment to...
Thank you for letting me know, but how do you tell?
Just another question, how do I tell if my Maxx is the narrow (old) or wide (newer)version, I don't have another Emaxx close to me to compare, is there something I can look for or measure?
I'm relatively new here and recently got another Emaxx.
Its a 3906 but very clean and hardly used.
Don't know why, but I just like these old Emaxxes, had one a couple of years ago to.
2S hard pack lipo's fit just fine into the 3906.
I recently got myself an Emaxx again and also got a 3906.
There is one simple little mod you can do that take 5min to make 2S hard packs...
