New Emaxx on the way!
I just ordered my new Emaxx from Tower Hobbies!! I am very excited! Cant wait for it to be here! I also got an iCharger 206B with a PS from Jimmie Newtron (great person, tons of help!) and a ParaBoard! Soon I will be getting some LiPos to run! (once i get my next paycheck). What do you guy think I should be looking at for some cheaper upgrades that are worth it? Im very excited to get into this hobby again!
1) Aluminum bulkheads(not integy)
2) Aluminum skidplates(also not integy)
3)Wheelie bar!!!!!!!!! I dont think I can put enough "!" behind that statement
4) Over the ankle boots - you can thank me later......
depends what your doing if your going to be bashing etc:
rpm shock towers
rpm a arms and true track rear
rpm skid plates (alloy ones like to bend)
big bore shocks
hitec steering servo (or a higher torque steering servo then stock) also get an alloy servo horn if its metal geared
alloy bulk heads (acncm, flm, golden horizon etc)
If its the brushed edition wheelie bar isn't really needed takes a lot o wheelie it
Can't go wrong with FLM or RPM.....
If its the brushed edition wheelie bar isn't really needed takes a lot o wheelie it
not as much as you think especially since he said he is getting Lipo's it will have no problem doing a wheelie
Thanks guys so much! I can't wait to upgrade and have some fun with this truck :D just got the first piece of the puzzle in the mail today! (My charger)
What is recommended when it comes to which parts to get aluminum and which parts to keep RPM plastic? I wont be upgrading until I break something, but want some opinions on what to get where. I will be doing mostly backyard bashing and jumping.
What I was thinking:
RPM arms front/rear
RPM Shock tower front/rear
FLM aluminum front/rear bulkheads
Aluminum chassis (not sure which one, opinions welcome!)
Not sure on any shocks or tires, the only set of shocks I've really heard about are the Traxxas Big Bore shocks and I havent really looked at any tires yet.
This is my plan that will hopefully not have to be purchased all at once, just as I break things
