What would you choose?
I'm working on a custom project, on-road only, high speeds, what would you choose?
The bulkhead completely on the lower chassis:

well that brings anti dive (dip in and steering under braking/off power) into the equation... i run a lot of 2wd cars that see nothing but smooth oval and road use and never had an issue with the 30° kick up. youll need srt camber blocks (stock 30) or associated rc10 style blocks (which were offered in a few kick ups) if your using the older style steering knuckles
you can tune them both to drive somewhat similarly on super smooth surfaces like prepped courses and carpet however its harder to get an anti-dive setup car to run well on rougher terrain (relatively speaking) than a "slammed" 30° setup.

In a dragster situation the wheels dont do much other than hold the front up and sort of steer. So as long as the wheels are straight and spin smoothly then just about any setup will work. Most dragsters dont even have a suspension. Just something to mount the wheels to.
So If you dont need the extra wheel base I would mount the bulkhead on the chassis. If something goes wrong the bulkhead will be held more securely to the chassis.
