Yes... :) I knew I had a board from an AM TQ somewhere...
The LiPo and the LVA share the same negative point... The positive of the LiPo goes to the right and the positive of the LVA goes to the left...
Hope this helps, if not, let me know and sorry for the delay...
Hi mate just wondering if you dont have a spare traxxas controlller where can i get teh switches for the circut board?
I don't have spare ones, but get a Traxxas AM radio from eBay, they should be prety cheap by now...
would this work for the TQi? does it enable something extra on the TQ because I am trying to work out four wheel steering and jolynsbass tried replacing a switch with a potentiometer but it didn't work(I am thinking that this modification enables something extra because zacflyer on youtube did this modification and used a potentiometer and it worked but we are still unaware of if he replaced a switch or did something else.) check out my thread. there is a link to the video.
Wow, I am impressed! I thought converting the 3rd channel on my TQ3 to be fully proportional was good
I have been trying to find someone who has made fully proportional servo control on a separate channel for quite a while and I would really like to know how you can do it and if it is possible to do it to a TQi (2 or 4 channel)
this is my thread http://traxxas.com/forums/showthread.php?8954918-Multi-function-nob-operating-a-servo
hi guys im wondering if enny one has been able to make a 2ch in to a 5ch if so can they send me a diagram on how to or some pictures.thankyou
Everything is here...
The 4th and 5th channels are only half channels and dependent of each other. There is no way to separate them.
Oscar, got your message, please, read the 5 pages of this thread, everything you need is here...
Well, I got my E.R.B.E. last week and I wanted to have at least 3 channels on my radio to turn on/off the lights remotely... I didn't want to buy a new 2.4GHz receiver for my Nomadio, or go back to the AM TQ4 from my Summit...
So, I was wondering if it was possible to convert the TQ 2.4GHz from 2 channels to 4 channels (we already have a 4-channel receiver on the truck)... And, the answer is YES!!!
This mod is working just fine for me, but, this will void your warranty and I'm not responsable if you ruin your transmitter...
I suppose you know how to open the TQ transmitter: 5 screws on the back, remove the plastic cover from the on/off switch, remove the battery holder and the 3 screws on the board..
1) Get 2 switches from a TQ or TQ3, the small ones on the front...
The two holes for these switches are already made on the transmitter...
And, the board has the holes and is ready to solder the switches on it...
2) Install both switches and solder them...

3) The guys from Traxxas are smart, if you don't install a jumper (a wire or a 0 ohm resistor like R30 or R38) on R33 and R18, channels 3 and 4 won't work...
hello I would love to please help me nesecito if you can tell me how to connect the channel 3 to function as proporsional to put back direction as you did in the mini e revo if you can spend some planes or video I own a summit 1/10 2.4 TQ4 radio and await your prompt reply my email is firstname.lastname@example.org greetings and thanks
