4s Power System
The Velineon VXL-4s Marine brushless power system is a clean-slate design optimized to deliver maximum thrust on a single 4s LiPo battery. The all-new brushless outrunner motor is a model of efficiency and power, combining thunderous torque with high-rpm speed. Two independent water cooling systems keep temperatures in check for maximum run time.
Injection-Molded ABS Hull
Disruptor’s ABS hull provides the superior strength and rigidity required for high-voltage brushless horsepower without excess weight. The unique injection-molded design features multiple support trusses and ridges for exceptional strength. Molded bosses secure the removable electronics tray in place with minimal hardware for additional weight savings.
Rapid Right Self Righting
Disruptor's confidence-inspiring speed and handling encourage jumps, twists and barrel rolls that might land it upside down. Just a quick blip of reverse throttle and Rapid Right self righting instantly puts Disruptor right back in the action.
High-Performance Hull
Disruptor's 26″ injection-molded ABS hull delivers incredible strength in a wave-cutting deep-V design. Precisely molded strake detail in the bottom hull increases Disruptor's sharp handling and stability. The hull's enhanced rigidity also provides superior hatch sealing and water rejection.
Sealed Clipless Hatch
Four locking nuts hold Disruptor’s hatch firmly in place and release in just seconds with a quick turn of the included tool. The rigid injection injection-molded hatch fits tightly against a foam gasket to keep water out. No matter how wild the stunts get, this hatch stays locked until you release it.
VXL-4s Marine Power System
With just a single Traxxas 4s LiPo battery, Disruptor slices through the water at speeds of 40 mph and beyond. For novice boaters or casual cruisers, Patented Traxxas Training Mode™ reduces power by 50%. Disruptor is also compatible with 2s and 3s Lipo batteries for more relaxed running.
Removable Electronics Tray
Disruptor’s electronics and power system bolt securely to a rigid tray for easy removal and maintenance. Detach the steering linkage, flex cable, and stuffing tube and then remove the screws to lift out the entire unit. No other boat makes it so easy to access the hull interior and electronics.
TQ Radio System
The TQ 2.4 GHz radio system keeps the focus on having fun, not worrying about interference from other boats. The TQ radio’s advanced programming provides long-range control with smooth, glitch-free performance and its ergonomic design is comfortable for all-day boating.
Water-Cooled Electronics
Dual water pick-ups under the hull send cooling water independently to the motor and ESC. A large, finned heat sink with internal water channel cools the ESC run after run for extended fun on the water. A machined aluminum water-cooled motor mount draws heat away from the motor to keep temperatures in check.
Accessory Trailer
Transport Disruptor to the lake in style with this fully detailed scale replica tandem-axle trailer (Part 10650, sold separately). Disruptor’s hull features an integrated eyelet to use with the optional winch hook for a truly authentic boating experience.

High Performance Prop
Disruptor’s prop gets the boat on plane quickly to reach maximum speed with the least current draw. Traxxas engineers tested countless prop configurations to find the perfect balance of performance, efficiency, and durability. Molded composite construction makes the prop light and tough, with no balancing or sharpening required.
High Strength Aluminum Hardware
Disruptor’s rudder and drive strut are machined from tough 6000-series aluminum for maximum strength and then anodized vivid blue for that unmistakable Traxxas look. The drive strut uses special oiled bushings for corrosion-free performance.
Stainless Steel Hex Hardware
Disruptor uses corrosion-resistant stainless-steel and screws and hardware throughout for good looks, easy maintenance, and long-lasting performance.
Stainless Steel Trim Tabs and Turn Fins
Dual trim tabs and turn fins are critical to Disruptor’s high-speed performance. The parts are precision die-cut and bent from stainless steel to resist corrosion as they provide aggressive cornering 'bite' and the proper hull attitude for extreme speed.
Dual Water Inlets and Outlets
Dual water pickups in the hull route cooling water to the motor and ESC independently. A streamlined plate on the transom evacuates water from the rear of the boat.

Disruptor is perfectly sized for fun with a light and maneuverable 26″ hull. The deep-V hull design adds extra stability on choppy water and gets on plane quickly and efficiently for maximum acceleration and speed.
Flex Cable Drive System
Originally designed for outrageous 6s power, Disruptor’s flex cable drive system is efficient, reliable, and ready for all day fun. Disruptor’s electronics tray moves the motor further back towards the transom for a shorter and more direct path to the prop.
High-Torque Waterproof Servo
Disruptor requires a powerful steering servo for responsive performance, and Traxxas delivers with the 2056 high-torque servo. O-ring seals make the servo completely waterproof, and there's plenty of steering muscle with 80 oz-in of torque at your command.
Quick-Release Flex Cable
A clamping collet holds Disruptor’s flex cable tightly and centers it perfectly with the motor's output shaft for smooth, efficient operation. The collet releases quickly with a twist of the included wrenches for easy maintenance. Once loosened, the prop and flex cable simply slide out, making it easy to keep your Disruptor running in peak form.
3-Channel Receiver with Fail-Safe Security
In the event of signal loss due to an accidental transmitter switch-off or depleted batteries, the receiver automatically returns the throttle to neutral and holds the last commanded steering position. The fail-safe programming is conveniently built-in and does not need to be activated.
Brushless Outrunner Motor
Disruptor’s brushless outrunner motor is optimized for maximum power and high-RPM efficiency in marine applications with ultra high-temperature sintered neodymium magnets, a precision-balanced rotor, and high-speed ball bearings.
Sealed Receiver Box
Traxxas' patented waterproof receiver box routes wires neatly through a special watertight seal. A blue O-ring allows easy access to the receiver box without losing its sealing properties.

VXL-4s Marine Speed Control
The VXL-4s Marine ESC uses a single 4s 14.8-volt LiPo battery for maximum 40+ mph speed (also compatible with 3s and 2s LiPo batteries). The VXL-4s Marine features an oversized aluminum heat sink with integrated water cooling for reliable all-day performance. Traxxas’ patented Training Mode™ can be used to limit power to 50% for new drivers.
Built-In Flotation
Disruptor’s built-in foam flotation ensures the boat stays afloat under adverse conditions. In addition to making Disruptor virtually unsinkable, the fitted foam insert adds extra rigidity to the bow.
