Marketing Communications Manager (on-site)
Traxxas is looking for a Marketing Communications Manager that will establish a content generation machine that drives copywriting and content creation across product, collateral, email communications, and online channels. The ideal candidate will craft compelling copy that conveys the passion, excitement, and innovative technology RC enthusiasts and dealers expect from the Traxxas brand.
- This is an on-site, FT position located in our McKinney HQ five days a week.

- This role reports to the Head of Marketing Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own content-related tasks surrounding product messaging and GTM announcements.
- Own content calendars for marketing communications and content creation.
- Distill technical product details and knowledge into concise copy and authoritative content.
- Collaborate with marketing leadership to assure GTM objectives are met.
- Partner with creative and technical stakeholders to assure content is accurate and timely.
- Help drive improvements to product copywriting across collateral, web, social, and email.
- Help drive improvements to our email strategy and distribution.
- Serve as the content liaison between marketing, creatives, product, sales and legal.
- Help create an editorial style guide that reflects Traxxas’ brand and products.
REQUIREMENTS
- A wide variety of professional writing samples you have written or managed.
- 5-10 years of corporate experience in a similar marketing communications role.
- At least 3 years managing others and enforcing schedules.
- Very strong copywriting and editing abilities.
- Experience creating and managing content for brochures, sales/product slicks, and emails.
- Strong experience with email marketing best practices.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and changing deadlines.
- Extremely detailed with excellent grammar.
- Strong prioritization, organization, and time management skills.
- Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Bonus Experience
- Corporate experience in an enthusiast-driven industry such as RC or powersports.
- Corporate experience in a B2B2C model.
- Corporate experience in B2C ecommerce.
- Corporate experience with an OBM.
