Part of the fun that comes with Aton® is the ability to take aerial photos and videos.
Aton has a distinct advantage because you can push the limits while flying it and, in a few short minutes, you can be taking photos and videos from the sky.
With your Aton powered off (battery disconnected), turn it over and attach the landing gear. The landing gear has two functions: it keeps your camera from touching the ground when landing and it provides a mounting location for the fixed camera mount or 2-axis gimbal.
The 2-axis gimbal comes attached to a bracket and attaches the same way as the fixed camera mount. First, route the gimbal wiring through the harness and attach to the power port on the bottom of your Aton; then, attach the bracket to the front landing gear and slide the interlocking tabs together. These tabs are located on the bottom of the landing gear and on the top of the mount/gimbal. When you hear a click, the mount or gimbal is secured in place. Finally, attach your camera and set your gimbal to the desired angle.
Note: If your camera has a Wi-Fi feature, be sure to disable the Wi-Fi as this can potentially cause interference with your Aton electronics.
Now, head for the sky to capture a bird’s eye view of your surroundings, and, as always, have fun flying your Aton.
