Setting up the Pro Scale Sand Car is quick and easy. Follow along with this video to see how to install the whip lights, wheelie bar, and tires and wheels.
The Pro Scale Sand Cars brakes are factory optimized for a variety of surfaces like pavement, dirt, grass, and damp sand. For ultra-fine dry desert sand or deep loam, follow these steps for optimal braking performance: 1. Disconnect the ball cup from the ball on the balance bar. 2. Holding the brass portion of the cable with needle nose pliers, unscrew the ball cup eight turns or until three threads are showing. 3. Reinstall the ball cup on the ball. Repeat for the second brake cable. If returning to high-traction conditions, adjust the ball cup back to its original setting for best performance. Note: Some brake dragging may occur after hard cornering or sand buildup. Keep driving, and it should clear up. Frequent cleaning and maintenance are recommended for optimal performance in these desert sand conditions.
