Lifted Performance

TRX-4MT’s factory Installed Long Arm Lift Kit and large Terra Groove tires raise the center ground clearance 88% for an authentic monster truck stance. Eight individual shocks on revised shock mounts with extended links ensure the truck maintains its carefully tuned suspension geometry for peak performance.

Terra Groove Tires

Huge Terra Groove tires give TRX-4MT the authentic “hand carved” look of full-size monster trucks. Mounted on chrome deep-dish wheels with beadlock trim, Terra Groove tires provide excellent traction with an aggressive tread pattern that bites into loose surfaces. The sticky rubber compound is also great on carpet, grass, and pavement.

TRX-4MT comes factory-equipped with the upgraded 2065R servo to turn its oversize Terra Groove monster truck tires with authority. This fully waterproof servo features an all-metal-gear drivetrain for maximum durability under the toughest conditions.

Realistic Body Elements

Traxxas took great care to replicate classic Ford and Chevrolet monster trucks in 1/18 scale. Unique chrome bumpers and engine details, roll bars with replica lights, side mirrors, door handles, and even wipers are molded in exacting detail for exceptional scale realism.

Deep Dish Chrome Wheels

TRX-4MT's deep-dish chrome wheels feature beadlock-style trim to replicate full-size monster trucks in exacting detail. The wheels utilize a standard 7 mm hex, making wheel swaps quick and easy.

LED Lighting

TRX-4MT features standard LED headlights in the front grille and LED-ready light buckets on the roll bar. Add optional Pro Scale^® LED lights and the trucks come to life with functional brake lights, reverse lights, and even emergency flashers (Pro Scale lights sold separately).

Included 2s LiPo Battery with iD^®

The included 2-cell LiPo battery provides 7.4 volts of high-performance power and up to an hour of runtime or more with Traxxas iD^® safety and simplicity. The specially-designed iD connector plugs directly into the ECM-2.5.

2-Amp USB Fast Charger with iD^®

The included 2-amp USB-A charger provides fast and convenient charging almost anywhere. Traxxas iD technology is the easier and safer way to charge LiPo batteries. Just plug the iD battery in and the charger does the rest. When the light turns solid green, the battery is charged.

Clipless Body Mounting System

Traxxas’ innovative clipless body mounting holds the replica bodies firmly in place no matter how rough the action gets. A quick pull on the hidden clips releases the body in seconds, with no body clips to lose or hook and loop tape.

Terra Groove Tires

Huge 3.1? Terra Groove monster truck tires replicate the hand-carved look of full-size monster truck tires and give TRX-4MT a towering stance. The oversize tires raise the center ground clearance and improve traction on loose surfaces with their aggressive tread pattern. Deep-dish chrome wheels round out the package for a stunning scale appearance.

Triangulated Four-Link Suspension

TRX-4MT rides on a lifted four-link suspension with heavy duty triangulated rods. Solid front and rear axles provide excellent articulation to climb over the toughest obstacles.

Heavy Duty Center Driveshafts

TRX-4MT’s heavy duty center driveshafts telescope freely to allow maximum suspension travel. Smooth-running CV joints are engineered for long-lasting, trouble-free performance.

Spool-Equipped Front & Rear Axles

TRX-4MT’s front and rear axles are locked with spools to supply non-stop climbing power to all four wheels. Tough, steel constant-velocity (CV) joints allow increased steering angle at the front wheels for tight turns.

Oil-Filled GTM Shocks

TRX-4MT utilizes four oil-filled GTM™ shocks with dual O-ring seals for a perfect seal and smooth performance. Four additional cosmetic shocks complete the classic monster truck look with specially tuned springs for a realistic and controlled ride.

ECM-2.5 Electronic Control Module

The ECM-2.5 features low voltage detection for 2s LiPo batteries and EZ-Set^® one-button programming to select driving modes. Choose Sport Mode for all-around driving, or Trail Mode for smooth drag braking on steep descents. For a smooth scale look while creeping over technical terrain, Crawl Mode applies full brakes the instant the throttle is released and allows drivers to continue through to reverse without a second push on the trigger.

A wide rubber strap keeps the battery safely locked in place and prevents the weight from shifting.

Optional Transmission Ratios

TRX-4MT’s modular assembly allows you to swap out different transmissions to change the performance characteristics of the truck. Install the low-range transmission for smooth low-speed torque or boost your top end with the speed gearing option (optional ratios sold separately).

TRX-4MT’s extended heavy duty steel frame rails are formed with a deep C-channel for maximum rigidity. Extended side panels in the center section replicate the monster truck look and increase strength where it’s needed most.

Forward-Mounted Motor

The Titan^® motor mounts securely to the transmission module with a fixed gear mesh that never needs adjustment. The motor’s mounting position shifts the weight bias forward for improved crawling dynamics over obstacles.

Heavy Duty Steering Servo

TRX-4MT’s 2065R steering servo operates on full 6-volt power for maximum steering authority with a full metal gear drivetrain for exceptional durability and precise control. The rugged one-piece drag link sits high up in the axle to avoid snags and impacts.
