Metal-Gear Servo
4-Tec needs a fast and powerful steering servo to match the quick reflexes and agile handling from its high-performance chassis. 4-Tec receives a new metal-gear servo for superior strength and durability. An integrated servo saver enhances steering precision and protects the servo from impacts.
TQi Sport Transmitter
The TQi™ Sport transmitter packs the range and performance of the TQi into a compact design for maximum comfort and portability. The ergonomic grip features a removable adapter to accommodate smaller hands and simple one-button programming for ease-of-use. A class-leading high-output 2.4 GHz signal delivers the outstanding range and glitch-free performance required by 4-Tec's blistering speed.
All-Wheel Drive
A highly efficient shaft-driven all-wheel drive system sends power directly to the steel driveshaft for instantaneous throttle response. Sealed front and rear differentials transfer the brushless motor’s massive torque to the wheels through one-piece steel driveshafts. The driveshafts fit inside extended drive cups for maximum articulation and durability.
Adjustable Wheelbase
Lengthen or shorten the wheelbase for the perfect body fit. With slight modification, rear suspension arms can be moved 3 mm in either direction.
Adjustable Body Mounts
4-Tec 2.0’s adjustable body mounts allow easy installation of popular 200 mm bodies. Body posts may be shifted forward and backward and side to side to accommodate most pre-drilled mounting holes.
Molded Wire Retainer
A simple wire clip would look out of place on this high-tech chassis. Traxxas engineers designed a sleek molded wire retainer to keep motor wires secured safely out of the way.
Fixed Gear Mesh
4-Tec 2.0 makes it easy to set gear mesh precisely thanks to the innovative fixed gear positioning system. Use the convenient chart included in the user manual to select the proper locations for the motor mounting plate based on the selected spur and pinion gears.
Velineon V3300 Motor
Designed for 3-cell LiPo power, the V3300 motor is optimized for extreme power and efficiency. Ultra-high temperature sintered Neodymium magnets provide massive torque and linear power. The unique low-maintenance design features high-speed ball bearings and an internal cooling fan for consistent high-power output, run after run.
Smooth Undertray
A completely smooth undertray cuts through the air with reduced aerodynamic drag. The smooth chassis resists snags on uneven pavement and expansion joints. The angled front bumper keeps the chassis’ stance low, while still allowing it to pass over bumps and up driveways with ease.

Waterproof Receiver Box
Real world driving requires dealing with the elements. 4-Tec 2.0 comes fully protected with a patented waterproof receiver box. The innovative receiver box keeps the micro receiver dry, even in the worst weather.
3-Channel TQi Sport Receiver
The TQi Sport receiver is compatible with all TQi and TQi Sport transmitters. A built-in failsafe returns the throttle to neutral and holds the steering in the last known position in the event of a signal loss.

4-Tec 2.0 features a new servo with upgraded durability on an all-metal gear train. The servo delivers quick, precise control with the security and convenience of fully waterproof construction.
Integrated Servo Saver
Conventional servo savers earned a reputation for sloppy steering in on-road cars. The 4-Tec 2.0 incorporates the servo saver into the horn for precise and responsive handling in all situations. An integrated collar allows the spring tension to be adjusted for personalized settings or track conditions.
Hex Hardware
4-Tec 2.0 uses pro-quality, high-grade, metric hex-drive hardware throughout for extra strength and easy maintenance and repair. The black-oxide rust-resistant finish provides a high-tech look and feel.
High Performance Modular Chassis
The high-tech 4-Tec 2.0 chassis keeps weight positioned as low as possible for a crisp, responsive feel. Three interlocking modules provide unprecedented rigidity and tight tolerances. Not only is the chassis stiffer and more responsive, it’s also easy to disassemble.
Replica Tires and Wheels
4-Tec’s street tires are perfect for the pavement with a long-wearing rubber compound and wide tread blocks for maximum grip. Beautiful black chrome wheels feature lug nut details for extra scale authenticity.
High Performance Suspension Adjustments
The 4-Tec’s high performance suspension features bosses molded into the arms to adjust droop. Suspension droop is the amount of downward travel on the wheels. Droop adjustment allows the 4-Tec 2.0 to be tuned for better stability in the corners.
Oil-Filled Ultra Shocks
4-Tec 2.0 rides on oil-filled Ultra Shocks utilizing X-ring technology for a perfect seal and silky-smooth performance. They are fully tunable with a wide range of oils, springs, and pistons. Features include pressure bladders for air/oil separation and spring clips to precisely change the ride height and spring pre-load.
Replica Brake Calipers
Bold red brake calipers highlight the Nissan’s performance credentials with replica brake discs. The brake calipers even switch from leading to trailing orientation to give your ride that fully authentic look.
One-Piece Driveshafts

Steel Center Driveshaft
4-Tec 2.0 distributes power to all four wheels through a one-piece center driveshaft. There are no dogbones to wear and no drive cups to wobble. The steel driveshaft runs straight and true with a center support bearing to handle the high RPM of the Velineon brushless power system.
Proven Sealed Differentials
4-Tec 2.0 features the same sealed, beveled-gear differential in the front and rear as the ultra-rugged Slash® 4X4. Tune the performance by varying the viscosity of the fluid inside.
Rubber-Sealed Ball Bearings
Rubber-sealed bearings offer super low-friction performance and maximum protection in dusty environments. These virtually maintenance free bearings are used in all exposed locations on the car.
