Pro Circuit's Martin Davalos has a
strong showing at A3

Traxxas' Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider Martin Davalos earned an impressive podium finish this past Saturday at Anaheim’s Angel Stadium for the fifth round of Monster Energy Supercross.

After ripping a holeshot and running away from the competition in his 250SX West Heat Race, Davalos knew he had to carry the success on to the Main Event in order to nail down a good finish and move up the ranks in 250SX West point standings. After a great start in the 250SX West Main Event, Davalos landed in the runner-up spot but kept charging for the remainder of the 15 laps. He eventually finished the race in second, which was his second 250SX West Main Event podium and his best finish of the season. The excellent finish moved him from seventh to fourth overall in 250SX West point standings, only 19 points out of the top-three.

Teammate Tyla Rattray just missed out on the 250SX West Main Event after finishing third in the LCQ.

This was the third and final stop at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. this season. The 250SX West riders will now head to the sixth round of the series, which will be held at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, and will then go on an eight-week hiatus before returning to competition on April 20 at Qwest Field in Seattle. The 250SX East riders will start their season in two weeks at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Tex.

As always, Traxxas brought its exciting radio controlled stunt demonstrations to wow the fans in the pit party AND on the Oakland track’s Monster Triple. The Traxxas E-Revo Brushless Edition was easily clearing the big double and was nearly able to land the triple! Fans got to interact with the pro RC drivers and the Traxxas Girls in the Pit Party. And two lucky fans won Traxxas Slash radio controlled short course truck to take home with them!
