Dean Wilson dominates at Cowboys Staduim

Traxxas’ Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider Dean Wilson made a statement by claiming a dominating win at the first round of the 2013 Monster Energy Supercross 250SX East series, which was held this past Saturday at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Teammate Justin Hill made his first professional appearance at Monster Energy Supercross and earned an impressive fifth.

Dean Wilson - Running Away With It

Wilson started the night strong by winning his heat race, which set him up with a nice gate pick for the 250SX East Main Event. In the main, he earned a second-place start but quickly made the pass for the lead and completely ran away from the competition. He led every lap and took the first 250SX East Main Event win of the season. Traxxas is predicting total domination in the 2013 250SX East!

Justin Hill - An Impressive Beginning

Hill made his Monster Energy Supercross debut at Cowboys Stadium and, after earning eighth in his heat race, the 17 year-old rookie navigated through the field after starting in the back of the pack in the 250SX East Main Event and walked away with an impressive fifth-place finish. Not a bad start for the youngest rider in the 2013 Supercross lineup!

Traxxas wows the fans

Traxxas again brought its exciting radio controlled stunt demonstrations to wow the fans in the pit party AND on the Supercross track’s Thor and Monster triple jumps. The Traxxas E-Revo Brushless Edition was easily clearing the big double and was nearly able to land the triple! Fans got to interact with the pro RC drivers and the Traxxas Girls in the Pit Party. And two lucky fans won Traxxas Slash radio controlled short course truck to take home with them!

Up Next - Atlanta Supercross

Wilson and Hill will now make their way to the second round of the 250SX East series, which will be held this Saturday, February 23, at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Ga.
