NHRA 4-Wide Nationals Day 2 Recap

After two long days at zMax Dragway, qualifying at the NHRA 4 Wide Nationals is finally complete. What started out as a comfortable, windy day ended with stagnant air and high temperatures. The qualifying for all professional categories is now over and the ladders for race day are set. John Force and Courtney Force had already qualified with good times on Friday. John was in third with a 4.122 and Courtney in 7th with a 4.151.

After Saturday’s runs, all four of the JFR drivers are qualified for the 4 Wide Nationals. What's more, all four drivers are in a different quad for the first round on Sunday! Qualifying ended with Robert Hight 1st, Mike Neff 3rd, John Force 7th, and Courtney Force 12th. Despite each of the JFR drivers having a few issues during qualifying, each driver did make a good pass and all of them gathered valuable data for Sunday.
