The TRX® Pro.15 race engine offers a new level of nitro performance excitement to satisfy demanding drivers, who believe you can never have too much horsepower. In a word, the power is simply insane! It fits in the same space and uses the same engine mounts as a .12, but the comparison ends there.

To start with, the TRX Pro.15 has a 20% larger displacement than a .12 engine. It includes such high-tech features as a grooved oil-ring piston for long life, a trick machined aluminum cooling head, ball bearings, finned aluminum backplate*, and a channeled-beam connecting rod which improves oil flow. The carburetor is all new, with a larger 6mm intake and reuseable low-restriction foam air cleaners. Double O-ring seals on both the high and low-speed needles eliminate power-robbing air leaks.

The TRX Pro.15 is an incredibly rugged and long-lasting powerhouse, with its strict quality control, ABC (aluminum, brass, chrome) construction, and the toughest recoil pull starter in the business*.

The TRX Pro.15 comes in four tire-shredding versions, to fit almost any application, including any .12 equipped Traxxas model. Covered by a two year limited warranty and a lifetime engine replacement policy.

TRX Pro.15 Engine Features:

The TRX Pro.15 carburetor is larger than the TRX .12's carburetor with an increase in intake diameter to 6mm (instead of 5mm). Air leaks have been eliminated with dual o-ring seals on both the high and low-speed mixture needles. A rubber dirt shield protects the carburetor from dirt. The air is filtered with oiled foam elements which can be cleaned and re-used.

The TRX Pro.15 uses ball bearings, instead of bushings, for efficient operation and long engine life. The outer bearing is sealed to prevent air leaks, and to prevent dirt from entering.

The TRX Pro.15 uses ABC construction. ABC is an abbreviation for aluminum, brass, and chrome. The piston is aluminum, the sleeve is brass, and the inside of the sleeve is hard chrome plated. The Pro.15 piston features an oil groove in the top. This provides better lubrication, sealing, and compression. These features help give the Pro.15 super long life with minimal maintenance.

The TRX Pro.15's connecting rod is channelled for extra strength and to aid oil flow to the lower bushing. This connecting rod is designed to run for many, many tanks of fuel without maintenance.
