Install Traxxas Link telemetry sensors on the model, and Traxxas Link displays real-time data such as speed, RPM, temperature, and battery voltage with stunning graphics. When combined with the DTS-1, Traxxas Link allows you to capture all the nuances of Pro drag racing competition. Traxxas Link will fill in your time slip with reaction time, elapsed time, and trap speed in actual miles per hour. Keep a run history on each of your models. Share time slips and setup race events with your friends. Dial in your ETs and any two cars can compete fairly, regardless of their top speeds! Race like the pros, using staging strategy to pressure your opponent. Only Traxxas makes drag racing so easy, accurate, fast, and fun!

 

Traxxas Link makes it easy to learn, understand, and access the powerful tuning options built into every Traxxas TQi radio system. Control your Drive Effect settings such as steering and throttle sensitivity; steering percentage; braking strength; and throttle trim by simply touching and dragging the sliders on the screen, or enabling the Multi-Function knob on the transmitter. With Traxxas Link, everything happens live, on-the-fly, giving you instant feedback on the changes you are making. Once you have created the perfect control settings for your model, save them as a profile that you can restore later, use on another model, or share with friends. If the track conditions change, simply re-tune your Drive Effects and save them as new profile.

 

Traxxas Link collects and records real-time telemetry data as you drive. When you equip your model with sensors, the Traxxas Link dashboard comes to life showing you speed, battery voltage, RPM, and temperature. The application automatically detects and recognizes Traxxas Link sensors for easy set up and configuration. The dashboard is fully customizable with either dial or digital readout gauges. Set threshold warnings and log maximums, minimums, or averages. Use the recording function to document your dashboard view, with sound, so that you can keep your eyes on your driving and not miss a single apex. If you forget to record, simply touch Instant Replay anytime to capture the previous minute of fun and unexpected triumphs. The recordings can be named and saved to compare, review, and share with friends.

 

The Model configuration settings provide a beautifully simple, visual interface to fine tune servo adjustments such as sub-trims, endpoints, and servo reversing. Choose your servo by touching the channel icon. Model Setups can be customized to adjust for vehicle modifications such as changing the pinion gear or installing different tires. Just select the modifications from the list. Traxxas Link also gives you instant access to Training Mode, and even includes an adjustment to set how fast the model can drive in Training Mode. It's perfect when you want to quickly and easily share your vehicle with a driver that is not yet ready to experience the full top speed your vehicle is capable of.

 

Traxxas Link simplifies organizing your collection of vehicles. The TQi radio system automatically keeps track of what vehicles it has bound to and what settings were used for each. Traxxas Link provides a visual interface to see the transmitter's model history, name the models, customize their settings, attach profiles, and lock them into memory. With Traxxas Link and the TQi radio system, there's never a need to try and remember which model in memory needs to be selected to drive. Simply choose a model and any previously bound transmitter, power them up, and start having fun. Traxxas Link recognizes the model and picks everything up right where you left off. An unlimited number of vehicles can be permanently stored. The factory settings for all Traxxas models are pre programmed so adding a new Traxxas model to your transmitter is a snap. Traxxas models factory equipped with TQi Traxxas Link receivers are detected and configured automatically.

Authentic NHRA-style Drag Racing Competition
With Traxxas Link and the DTS-1 Drag Timing System

Traxxas Link makes it simple to select the DTS-1's Staging and Tree modes and select one or both lanes. Tap the name fields to input each driver and Dial-In times for bracket racing. Touch Start Race and DTS-1 signals the drivers to enter the staging beams. It all happens right from your TQi transmitter with the easy-to-use Traxxas Link interface.

The DTS-1 captures the data from each race with millisecond accuracy for display in the Traxxas Link App. Race winner, Elapsed Time, and MPH are shown with digital precision. Share and Comment buttons make it easy to send results to friends, or attach comments to the results. Touch Show Timeslip and Traxxas Link reveals even more race data. 

The Traxxas Link timeslip display replicates the paper timeslip you would collect at the "ET shack" after a run on a full-size drag strip. Elapsed time (ET), trap speed (MPH), Reaction Time (RT) and dial-in time (if used) are displayed along with the margin of victory. Driver name, lane choice, and race date are shown beneath the customizable track name. Traxxas Link and DTS-1 make it easy to organize and run exciting, competitive drag races quickly and easily in your driveway with friends or at the hobby store with a full field of competitors.  The Traxxas Link App with DTS-1 Support is now available on the App Store.

 

 

DTS-1 Setup and Diagnostics

Select Tree Mode (Spotsman or Pro) and Staging Mode (Pro, EZ. Hand), and activate Practice or Bracket racing mode with a touch. Pre-programmed distances for scale quarter-mile racing can be selected, or you can input your own custom distance.

Customize your DTS-1 with advanced settings that allow you to alter the amount of time DTS-1 allows for each staging mode, race timeout, even how long the screen displays results after each race. Traxxas Link makes it easy to set up the DTS-1 to race your way.

Traxxas Link's diagnostic screen confirms beam alignment, shows battery life in each console, displays laser temperature and even lets you know if the optional cooling fans are running. Troubleshooting is done for you, no guesswork involved.

 

Device Requirements
Traxxas Link is designed for iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, and iPod touch 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generations. For full functionality, Traxxas Link requires a Traxxas TQi transmitter with Docking Base and a TQi receiver installed in the model. Telemetry functions require Traxxas telemetry sensors to be installed on your model.
