Cutting ventilation holes in the body

CUTTING VENTILATION HOLES IN THE BODY
You may not like the way it looks, but ventilation holes in the body are a must for good engine cooling performance. Usually a cutout in the windshield of approximately 1.5 to 2 square inches will suffice. If you are running in extremely hot climate (95+ degrees Fahrenheit), or racing with lean fuel mixtures, then even more cutouts may be necessary to provide enough airflow to keep the engine cool. We recommend that you have 2-bodies, one for show and one with the necessary cutouts for racing.
