T-Maxxes are coming early February. A year later, they are still flying off of store shelfs.

Mustang, without puting you on the spot, I think your marketing dept. is either the sharpest we have seen in a long time by underselling the T and keeping total sales up all the time or your engineers are making some changes and want all of the sale units off the market before introducing the new model. Either way, they are foxxy people and I guess we'll just have to wait.

I think something is up because nobody is getting any new T-MAXXs until FEB 5

There haven't been any rustler kits either. so don't feel alone. I get the same story from all the hobby shops and sites I talk to... there is none to be had until feb.

    News flash!

Traxxas will be releasing a DOUBLE NITRO ENGINE version of the T-MAXX on Febuary 1, 2001! I guess that's why they're letting stock run out on the old T-MAXX!

    Woo hoo!

With all due respect to the Traxxas corp., I have found that their supply lines are extreemly lacking!
Your products seem to be on back order more often then not and some items, in my area anyway, are almost totally unavailable.
My local hobby shops are almost forced to direct new comers towards the manufacturers that they can get parts from.
I spent almost three months waiting for two PRO 15s (back ordered to somewhere in Asia). Take a look at some of your larger mail order houses and the number of parts that are currently shown as 'on order'.

You have great products, but, you can't sell what you can't supply!

Traxxas, i was wondering when you are going to start to make products again because my nitro rustler needs parts and they are on back-order and that is the same with all other traxxas products. And why cant you tell use how many t-maxx's you make a day?

i think you guys at traxxas ought to make a t-maxx kit w/ no electronics except a engine. i think that would sell well, same w/ e-maxx

Traxxas is not a publicly held company so we are not required to divulge financial information. Our competitors would love to know what kind of time and resources it takes to build products to the same level of quality as Traxxas. It's just not a good idea for us to discuss those things.

look guys, I know it's frustrating when nobody has any T's or E's in stock, my LHS's shelves are bare too. that just means that Traxxas has VERY popular products that everyone wants and I'm sure that the people at Traxxas are working very hard to meet the demand. now we all know that Traxxas will be coming out with a new product this year, so is that why they don't have any T's in stock anywhere? or is it just that they didn't anticipate the demand of the product would stil be great more than a year later?
whatever the case may be, I am willing to wait. you guys shouldnt hound Mustang, just like he said Traxxas is not a publicly held company so they don't have to tell us anything and I can respect that.
so I guess we will all just have to wait
just like that old saying goes.......... good things come to those who wait!!!!!!!

    Thumbs down

I agree RC Rick. I have been waiting for months for my graphite parts and they have been "backordered". Traxxas really needs to start meeting the demand for graphite parts.
