    Chicago Electric Pressure Washer

I'm looking to buy this pressure washer from harbor freight tools. Just wondering if anyone else has one, and if it is decent quality.
I already have a 6HP gas pressure washer, but I am sick of lugging it around for small jobs. So I figure a small electric one would be a good idea.

    Thanks!

I bought this small 2HP 4 gallon compressor from them last year. It works great! I use it for air tools, filling tires, etc. You can't beat it for $99, and the shipping is free if you use this code: FS 264-036-711

It looks like Pittsburgh Forge, Central Machinery, Central pneumatic, and Chicago Electric are Harbor Freight "house brands".

I also have a couple of Chicago Electric power tools (a hammer drill, and 4.5" grinder). They are of "OK" quality, but since I am not a contractor - they work just fine for me.

We have purchased many things from Harbor Freight.
We bought a Central Pneumatic air compressor & it's great.
    Check out their
Helping Hands item, they come in real handy when soldering

The $5 air brush works pretty well too. It's definitely not as good as my $70 Paashe Dual Action airbrush, but it does a good job.

I just ordered the pressure washer and a few other odds and ends. I'll let you all know how it works. Heck, for $79, how can I go wrong?

OQ, wish I saw the "helping hands" tool. I guess I'll order it next time!

Next order think about getting a couple of these Magnetic trays
They are great for outdoor use to keep track of screws & such.
Plus if you drop a screw or something and you can't see it, just rub the tray over the ground & the strong magnets will find it.

One more thing that's a good price is the Multi meter, great for many reasons

    Got it yesterday....

    It's great!
Very small, and it has enough power for smaller jobs when I don't want to lug the gas powered unit out of the garage. I just blasted the engine compartment of my old chevy and it took years of dirt and grime off in about 6 minutes. I can tune up the engine now without getting filthy from the grime.

Biggest complaint is the fact it was backordered for a while.....

Harbor Frieght is good to deal with. We are lucky enough to have an outlet within 30 miles from where I live. I have a cousin that owns an ATV shop and he got allot of hid Milling, Drilling and Metal Lathe mahinery from them when he first got started.

I wish that Tractor Supply would open up a store closer to home. The nearest one is like 75 miles away. I like them allot also.
Well I like stores that are differant like Harbour Freight and Tractor Supply. You can get just about anything that you need from them.

    Les,

I agree, they are a good company to deal with. I wish I had an outlet store near me! Their stuff is priced 1/3 to 1/2 less than the "name brands". The quality may not be quite as good as the top brands, but for a guy like me who won't put it through everyday use, their stuff is just fine.

I also got a set of digital calipers from them (cen-tech brand) to measure the diameter of comms before and after I cut them on my lathe. They also come in handy for adjusting toe in/out on the front tires, and adjusting the camber links.
