    pullstart vs. ezstart

I'm a newbie in nitro r/c so i'm going to ask a stupid question: What gives the pullstart so much of an advantage over the ezstart OTHER than the weight difference? it seems like ezstart is good idea. Plus you have to spend about 25bucks on a glo igniter anyway if you get a pullstart.

Well because I would want to use the ezstart is because you wouldn't need to pull and pull and pull. You would just need to press a button. But you would need to by a charger.

It's cheaper... $35 for a pullstart and glow ignitor, compaired to $50+ for a battery and charger.

Also, with a pullstarter, you don't have to worry about gears stripping or the glow plug burning up,l because it's getting fed .4 volts too many (a plug is rated at 1.5v and the ez-start gives it ~1.9v). Also, you can't feel if the engine gets hydro-locked.
I love the smell of nitro fumes in the morning!

yeah, but the starter doesnt go out (unless u hold it untill it starts like you SHOULD NOT DO), and the ezstart doesnt need the glo igniter deal
i like the ezstart, its less of a hassle, plug it in, press the button and watch the truck hit the jump again and again.

Oh, yeah, the battery and charger for ezstart would cost more than $50, I didn't realize that cuz i've had a electric rustler for a year or two and I have a charger and i can use one of my 1500 packs.

    Thanks

    Cool

Me being lazy I like the EZ-Start. I did take the blue wire off and am using a glow ignitor. I can charge a battery up and it lasts for days. With the blue wire hooked up it doesn't last very long.

Besides weight the biggest disadvantage IMO is not being able to tell if it is hydro-locked just like Tazz said.

why I would use the ezstart is it may cost more but, with my old car I had to pull and I cut my finger pretty deep. But with the pull starter you would need to buy batteries.
