It wouldnt do anything, it would just take longer to charge the batteries. It would have the same run time and punch. I charge my 3000's at 4.5 or 5amps. For more information go here http://www.rccaraction.com/rc/articles/NiMHbatcare1.asp

E-MAXXDareDevil get a fast fan, it will help A LOT. You can get one at radio shack and its a standard outlet plug, it looks like a big computer fan though.

Actually, it does make a difference of what amp you charge your battery. Say there is a 2amp and a 4amp charger. If you use the 2amp, it will take longer but will increase run time. If you use a 4amp charger, the charge will be quicker, the car will have more of a "punch" to it, but run time will be less. A trick i learned was when the fuse in my charger blew out. I put a piece of foil and it charged the thing like crazy!!!!!!!!!. But i wouldnt do it all the time. I dont know what effects it can have on the battery or the charger.

yeah it won't really change much charging at a lower rate except increase the charge time, i have 2 M pro's and i charge everything but my radio batts on a full 7 amps , and i haven't smoked any cells.......................yet.

the N-power is ok , it only puts out 10amps at 14volts though, i can't run both M Pros at full power off the N-power so i use a power supply from a computer to run the second one, it puts out 9amps at 12 volts so it works great and you can get them really cheap.
yeah that power supply sounds good , i think my N power cost atleast as much and has only 10amps output

they would run longer, but have less punch...........but they would also have a longer life span.
