    cant pump it up

My rustler is giving me some jip fuel wise.I am having difficulty getting fuel to flow from the tank to the carb.I have recently refitted my 360 stinger pipe and in doing so have brought about this problem. The fuel wont prime the carb with my finger covering the exaust. The pipe has never had a pressure nipple fitted to it, so the fuel pipe used between the tank and exaust is just squeezed into the hole.If i blow down the the pipe the fuel flows no problem. This problem is also causing the car to stall and prevents it from reving out. Another problem i have with another car, is air bubbles in the fuel line at the needle jet side of the fuel line. They return even after re-priming the carb and forcing the air bubbles out.CAN ANY BODY HELP.

you may have an air leak or the fuel filter may need to be changed

this is when your restarting a hot engine.. right??

if it is, its cause ur running to lean, and the carb is getting so hot that the alcahol in the gas boils into a gas( not fuel)and creats bubbles. you can either buy a new composite carb, or richen your hsn alittle

Found the problem with the rustler! The silicon joining tube between the exaust and the manifold was split where it was out of sight, replaced the joining tube and HEY PRESTO! the rustler is back to its old demon self. The problem with the other nitro car is proving to be a bit more tricky.I have changed the fuel pipes and the carb and even pressure tested the fuel tank but the fuel pipe at the carb still seems to be filling with air bubbles.By the time i have restarted the thing for the 3rd - 4th time on the same tank of gas, it will suddenly lose all power and in a very short period die completly.I assume this is due to overheating due to lack of fuel(caused by the air bubbles). The alcohol may be boiling due to a lean mixture, but this happens before i have even used 1 tank of gas and there is always plenty of blue exaust smoke following the car.

When my rusty was brand new it wouldn't start at all, it was obvioulsy fuel line problems. Took me a while to figure it out...

Turns out the nipple on the stock tuned pipe was clogged with glue from the manufacturing process.

DOesn't sound like your problem but something to check anyway.
